I read with great interest an article that appeared in the British newspaper the Mail on Sunday on the 30th May by the ex-British MP, Norman Baker, entitled This is how to Battle Beijing. As I was reading his excellent article, it was like he was literally and metaphorically taking the words right out of my mouth. When we look at China today, we see an ever-expanding country whose wealth is ultimately controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). However, I was not aware of some of this villainous dictatorship's control policies of its people. As Mr Baker declares, ‘the state's surveillance network is now capable of identifying any one of China's 1.4 billion citizens within a second.’ Unbelievable but true!

I shall augment Mr Baker’s piece and make my point based on what the Chinese did under Mao Tse-Tung to the country and the people of Tibet. Chairman Mao's armed forces invaded Tibet in 1950 and over a period of about four or five years, declared Tibet a part of China under the so-called Cultural Revolution. After an uprising by the Tibetan people, the Chinese ended up imprisoning, torturing and killing hundreds of thousands of Tibetans, many of them innocent Buddhist monks and nuns. They destroyed temples and thousands of sacred Buddhist texts. And from that time right up until the present day, the Chinese government regards His Holiness the Dalai Lama as a terrorist. I mean you couldn’t make it up! Today, if you are a local Tibetan living in Lhasa for instance, and the police discover that you have a photo of the Dalai Lama in your home, you shall be tried in a so-called court of law, jailed, beaten up and tortured. This is the Chinese contemptuous attitude to one of the most peaceful men on the planet.

So here we are today, the year 2020, and the Chinese government under Xi Jinping is no different to that of Mao Tse-Tung. But instead of invading countries with the back-up of armed forces, Xi Jinping's government has unleashed on the world one of the most dangerous viruses known to man, is blatantly threatening Taiwan, and extending its control over the South China Seas.

But let us get back to Covid-19. Last week the Chinese director of the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention stated that the virus did not originate in the Wuhan ‘wet’ markets. But he doesn’t give any evidence as to where it originated. Well, I think most aware and logical thinkers can safely assume that it originated in that Institute of Virology in Wuhan. The lab, as far as I am concerned, was working on a deadly virus that could be unleashed on the world and create economic chaos in the process. This would have been governed by the CCP with the intention to bring financial anarchy, especially to the United States. Of course, I stand to be corrected.

So, funnily enough, just last week I read in another British newspaper, The Sun that a Chinese Beijing-based biotech company Sinovac were almost 99% sure they had created a vaccine to handle the virus. So, what’s next? Sinovac declares shortly that yes, their vaccine kills Covid-19, and shall soon make it available to every nation in the world suffering from the virus - at a cost. It shall not come cheap but, at the end of the day, world-wide money shall flow into the coffers of the Chinese and further boost its economy whilst weakening most others around the world.

Let me put it this way, the CCP is a despotic organization that secretly wants to rule the world come hell or high water. But after this pandemic is over the West should come together, impose serious sanctions on China and include massive tariffs on ALL Chinese imports.
