Every day, a large number of kids in our rapidly expanding globe are being influenced by negative people to act in ways that go directly against their parents' beliefs and, as a result, offend their own loved ones. Soniya, Tom, Ritik, Sodi, Ravi, and Bablu are the six children in the lovely and contented joint family at the beginning of the novel. The children were all either interns or in their last year in school. They spent their vacations at a hill station one day, along with their parents. Following their observation of the group of college-bound students skipping school and having an unrestricted time, they were inspired to organize a get-together.
When their parents went to sleep at night, they all made the decision to skip class and live life to the fullest, unrestricted by their parents. They went shopping, played video games, watched movies, and most importantly, they didn't have to study! The family returned to their homes after a few days together.
As the days went by, all of those children left their home at the same time that they did for school, following the plan of bunking, and eventually arrived to their preferred location: THE TIMEZONE, a well-known gaming establishment in Noida, India. Soniya was always the one who went against the plan among these youngsters because her father, a teacher, taught her discipline in all its forms and she was an honest student in her class. Soniya, however, didn't want to betray her pals since they asked her to be calm and that their parents wouldn't find out because, as we all know, kids these days are easily swayed.
They were all completely engrossed in the joy of the supposedly "unrestricted world." Coincidentally, Soniya's parents reached the mall after three or four hours of gaming and noticed every child before the children did. Perplexed, Soniya's parents began to follow their children and made the decision to surreptitiously follow them in order to let their respective parents know where their children were. When they saw their own child ensnared in such a negative influence, Soniya's parent’s expressions were extremely lifeless.
The kids departed the mall at the same time they used to leave their colleges, completely oblivious to Soniya's parents. Her parents, who were actively pursuing her, also left the mall and returned home to wait for their kids. Every parent devised a strategy, choosing to maintain silence and avoid displaying any signs of rage at the arrival of their kids.
The children's parents informed them that there was a surprise waiting for them all in the club house when the children arrived. The children, full of anticipation, dressed elegantly and proceeded to the surprise party organized by their parents. To their astonishment, they discovered a sizable table with a box covered in a red cloth. Following an arduous fifteen minutes of waiting, the oldest parent emerged onto the stage and began expressing gratitude to the children, however in such a way that the children's feelings were wounded by what they had done. He informed them that since the children had performed such amazing job today, they should be given the title of "GREAT BUNKERS."
The children were crying when they realized how unhappy their parents were in them, embarrassed by what they had done. When the red curtain was pulled back, they were met with six trophies bearing their names, such as "Tom - A CERTIFIED BUNKER." All of them sobbed and expressed regret for their strange behavior, but since what they had done was serious, none of their parents had given them an out.
As the children were called up one by one to the stage and awarded their prizes, they were unable to look their parents in the eye. Finally coming to terms with their actions, they made a vow to their parents that they would never fall into a trap again and that they would never be swayed by anyone unless it was something positive. This concludes the story after their parents accepted their apologies.
RIGHT, YOU ARE AmazED? Feeling that parents are overreacting to a minor issue like bunking? No, bunking is not a good thing. Unless you were taught a very good lesson, if you bunk once, you will bunk again and again. The main purpose of this story was to teach teenagers the importance of self-discipline, concentrating on their current activities and future goals, and realizing all of their potential—that is, not giving in to peer pressure or letting friends who don't value themselves or their work ethic influence them. You will know that happiness is a result of hard work if you put in the necessary efforts.
