Ravi had grown up listening to stories about an old, crumbling mansion near his village. It was said that strange noises echoed from it at night - and those who dared enter never returned.
Twenty years later, when Ravi came back home during his holidays, he decided he would uncover the mansion's secret. Despite his friends' warnings, he set out one dark night with only a torch and a camera.
The mansion's walls were cracked and broken. Its heavy door stood ajar, as if someone had been waiting for him. As soon as he stepped inside, a cold gust of wind blew past him. His camera switched on by itself and began flashing - but what appeared on the screen wasn't normal: a shadowy figure, coming closer with each flash.
Gathering his courage, Ravi moved deeper inside. A crumbling staircase led down to a dark basement. As he descended, the air grew colder. Bloody handprints stained the walls, as if someone had desperately tried to escape.
Suddenly, a voice echoed - it was his mother's voice:
"Ravi... my son... come back..."
Startled, Ravi turned around - but no one was there. When he looked forward again, a woman's face was just inches away - her eyes completely black, blood dripping from her mouth.
Ravi bolted toward the staircase, but it felt like the ground itself was pulling him back. As he reached the entrance, the main door slammed shut. The entire mansion filled with a deafening scream.
Ravi was never seen again.
Villagers say that if you pass by the mansion at night, you can hear a desperate voice calling:
"Let me out... I'm still inside..."
And some swear that sometimes, in the shattered windows, you can see the reflection of a young man - Ravi - staring back with hollow eyes, silently begging for help.
