On a cold, rainy night, Sarah found an old mirror in her attic. It was covered in dust and cobwebs, its frame etched with strange symbols. Curious, she wiped it clean and placed it on her bedroom wall. That night, she noticed something odd—the reflection didn’t quite match her room.
Instead of her bed, the reflection showed an old rocking chair in the corner, swaying slowly. Thinking it was her imagination, she turned off the lights and went to sleep. But at 3 AM, the sound of creaking wood woke her. She sat up, heart pounding, and looked at the mirror.
The chair in the reflection was now closer to the bed. Her breath caught as she stared into the glass, realizing something was in the chair—a figure with hollow eyes, grinning at her.
Panicked, Sarah turned on the light and looked around her room. No chair. No figure. Just the mirror, showing her empty bedroom. She laughed nervously, convincing herself it was a dream.
But as she turned away, she didn’t see her reflection follow. Instead, the figure in the mirror stood up and stepped out.
