So, Albert is finishing up his dealings with Carson after Bird Cage2 burned down. Rain had changed her name to Rachel, but Zander had fucked up her mind so bad, that now, she’s locked away. Deidre thinks either she or the blue pill killed the Chief, but she doesn’t know Zander is living on the farm. Perry now has one eye thanks to Zander.

Sue has all of this information and thinks that Zander is somehow behind it. She’s after the truth so after talking to Deidre she rushed back to Lar’s place. She walked through the front door and said, “Zander, are you here?”

“Yes ma!”

He was coming downstairs. Sue was looking at Lars dressed in a red dress, red heels, a feather hat with a veil that just covered his eyes, He wore long red gloves, and he was holding a cigarette holder like the ladies in the movies.

She was looking in the face of Lars who always told her the truth. She was looking into two eyes behind a veil, but one eye belonged to Zander. Looking back at her, he said, “Yeah Ma, I’m here. What do you want?”

Sue was shocked, she almost passed out but it was her son. Her dead son, but still her son. She whispered, but she found the strength to speak and said, “Zander, we thought you left with Seymour and Daisy. You’ve been here all along? “

“Yes maam.”

“Well, I’m glad, son, glad that you’re here but why didn’t you tell us?”

“I had to take care of a few things Ma.”

“Yes, you did, like Perry’s eye. He’s wearing a patch now. But you know that, don’t you? And son, what are you wearing?”

Looking down and smoothing out his dress, Zander said, “I felt like dressing up. I do this at the mansion and I have fun. It’s no fun here and yes, ma’am, I’m ready to leave just as soon as I can get a ride.” (He smiled at his own joke).

Sue watched him sashay down the stairs into the living room and he made a grand turn for her. She just stood there with a fake smile because she had to admit he pulled it off. He was wearing a deep dark red Balmain sheath gown made of organza that hung to the floor. His shoes were Herman Delman red pumps made of organza with tiny shiny rhinestones that covered the toe caps and heels. He was wearing a page boy wig with bangs under a cute little feather hat with a black veil attached and gloves that reached over his elbows. His lipstick matched the color of his dress. Lars, or rather Zander, looked fabulous. But he had to go.

“Where did those things come from?”

“The basement. LaVern’s fancy dresses were laid out in boxes. Just like new, look it! Some still have tags.” Sue just nodded. She remembered Lavern and Lars did too. He had choked her out.

But for now, and for Zander, she didn’t have a clue how she could help him, but she told him she would call Seymour first thing in the morning. “But” she told him, “You need to stop it, Zander. You hear? You need to stop.”

Right after she left the phone rang and Zander answered it in a sing-song voice, “Hello-o-o-o, you’ve reached the Jinx Farm-m-m. How can I help you-u-u?”

“I’m calling for my husband Mac. Is he there?” It was the Chief’s wife.

Zander lied and told her that her husband couldn’t come to the phone right now because he contracted a terrible virus. The doctor wants him to stay in bed for at least two weeks.” He said, “Can you come and help care for him? I’ve lost my housekeeper and I need help desperately.”

She said, “Of Course. Of course. Just give me a few days to get everything in order here and I’ll be there. By the way, I will be stopping at the Mansion and hopefully I will have Seymour with me.”

“Wonderful, we look forward to seeing you.”

Zander danced a jig in his red dress and was singing,” Seymour’s coming, Seymour’s coming.” He rushed upstairs to change clothes and just as he was going to sleep, the phone rang again and he let Lars answer. It was Deidre.

She wanted desperately to get away, and she was thinking she could surprise Albert and get a little action, and they could talk about the Chief. She decided to leave baby AJ with his uncle Lars. She thought he was a conscientious person, but she didn’t know Zander was there. If she had known, she would have asked or pleaded with Sue to care for him.

The following morning, she called Lars. Ring…

“Hello?”

“Lars? This is Deidre. How are you?

“Good, good!”

“Have you heard from Albert?”

“Yes, he was here but went back to Carson’s place to settle matters about Bird Cage 2 because it burned to the ground a few weeks ago.”

“OH NO, I didn’t know, I need to find him Lars.” She went on, “Will you take the baby over night while I go to him?”

“Sure, I’d love to Deidre. Sure”

“OK. I’ll bring him over this afternoon around 2:30 or three, alright? I’ll bring everything he’ll need, and I’ll be back early in the morning, OK?”

“Sure, sure. No problem.” Lars was feeling proud because she was trusting him with her baby. He started putting things away, rearranging furniture and shit.

Zander heard it all.

Deidre packed baby food, diapers, toys, pacifiers, his favorite blanket, and his favorite binky bear. She was talking to her baby saying stuff like, “So AJ, you’re going to see your uncle Lars. It’s going to be so much fun! AJ said, “Fun mommy, fun” not knowing what the hell she was talking about. He was happy if she was happy.

Deidre’s thinking was scattered. She vaguely remembered pulling the Chief off the bed and dragging him into the kitchen. He was twice her size. How did she manage it? Why was he trying so very hard to fuck her back out? Was Zander around again? Why was Sue asking her all those questions? She had to find Albert.

So, moving right along………..

The baby was 14 months old. He was walking and getting stronger with his balance every day. He had one or two words he used like “juice,” bye bye, dada, mama, and he mostly pointed at what he wanted. His front teeth were coming in and sometimes he was cranky with his teething, but he was growing into a fine boy.

He knew Lars because sometimes Lars would strap him in his car seat. His mama was learning to drive in Lar’s car and sometimes they took him along but mostly he stayed with his grandma Sue.

He knew Lars because sometimes Lars bought him those frozen things that baby’s gum on while teething. He knew Lars because sometimes Lars put him on his shoulders and bounced around like a pony. That always made him laugh out loud. He knew Lars because Lars gave him goat milk with a little bit of honey mixed in.

He knew Lars before Zander came to the farm.

Around 6pm when the baby was getting fussy, Zander made Lars take a nap.

Zander had not been off the farm since he arrived with Seymour. He was ready to leave and go back to his mansion, but no one was going there and he was bored out of his ghostly devious mind. That afternoon when there was still a little daylight left, he entered baby AJ and they walked off the farm property.

Imagine seeing this little boy walking alone down a country road. Strolling like a grown man and dressed in a blue bib outfit with a Roy Roger Tee shirt. He has a blue pacifier hooked on a strap and he’s wearing blue and white stride rite walking shoes. He’s even got a little pimp swag going on and he’s got a man’s cap sitting sideways on his little head.

The road they walked on had trees on one side and the vision on the other side was land as far as you could see with orchards, farmhouses, and barns. They walked over a plank bridge that protected a creek bed. Zander made the baby shove rocks in the water and made him spit in the water. He was going to take a piss, but the baby had on pull ups and well, peeing in the creek wasn’t going to happen.

The air smelled of cow shit, apples, honey-suckle and the weather was perfect for evening walks. Dogs were barking, cows were mooing, late in the evening birds were chirping, and the occasional hoot of an owl could be heard.

They walked just over a mile and saw those mooing cows still grazing and heading back to their barn. They saw a sheep pen and further along they saw goats, ducks, and chickens. They saw baby llamas looking over a fence and heard peacocks screaming.

They saw a white farmhouse with red trimming that was a ways back off the road. There was a red barn next to a greenhouse. There was an old chevy pickup in the driveway and a tractor on the side of the house. Two big dogs were hooked to chains, and they were barking like crazy.

A neighbor woman looking out her kitchen window saw him and she came running down her driveway. She was frantic. “Where is your mommy? Where are you going?”

AJ’s mouth moved but the woman heard a man’s voice say, “Mind your business, you old biddy.”

She said, “Well, I never.”

“I know you didn’t never” and she saw the baby grab his crotch and throw his head back. But she heard the laugh of a grown man. Her mouth opened and she drew in breath. Her hand flew up to cover her mouth and she froze in shock.

AJ/Zander went inside her house and climbed up on a stool standing in front of the kitchen sink. She was cooling a pie on the windowsill above the sink, and the baby took a chunk out and ate it. He also managed to get a drink of milk that was sitting on the sink, but he dropped the glass. His little hands couldn’t hold the glass.

When that happened the Mr. came from the back of the house and said, “Honey, what cha doing? But he saw the baby on the sink and without thinking he grabbed for him.

The man was unexpected and baby AJ/Zander used a fork and stabbed his hands. He said in the Zander voice, “I don’t know you” and he stabbed his hands again and jumped down on the floor and stabbed his legs and feet. The man was in total shock; I mean total shock and blood was everywhere.

By then the woman had come back through the screen door, screaming, “You killed my husband, you killed him, who or what are you?

Baby AJ/Zander jumped from him to her and stabbed her just as much as he had done to him. He could hardly hold the fork because it was so slippery with blood. They were both choked out from loss of blood, from fear, from disbelief and well, they were both choked out.

Finally, he left that house and ran back to the road as fast as his short legs could go. It was around 7:15pm, just about dark and Zander for no reason, made the baby scream.

Lights came on at the back of another house further down the road. Animal noises were loud with squawking, barking, mooing, snorting and that peacock screaming. A man in that house heard the noise and came out with a shot gun. He thought it was a wild animal and was ready to shoot but he realized he was running towards a little boy.

When he saw him, he stopped and said, “What, what? did you just scream? Baby AJ said, “dada, dada.” The man picked him up, saw all the blood on his hands and clothes and before he could say a word, the baby bit the tip of his nose clean off. The man dropped the baby, more like threw him and was holding his face. Blood was in his eyes and mouth, it was awful.

Baby AJ bit his legs until the man had to kneel to the ground. He couldn’t make the baby stop biting him. He pushed him from one leg, but he bit the other one. The man was frantic because his nose was gone. He was choked out.

It was awful but Zander was having the time of his ghostly life.

The man’s oldest daughter came around the side of the house. She was wearing a house dress, rubber boots for walking in hog shit, a black leather apron and black heavy-duty gloves. Maybe she was feeding the hogs, who knows but she was saying, “Dad? Dad? where are you, what happened?”

When the baby/Zander approached her, she was speechless. He was saying, “mama, mama” She saw a baby in bib overhauls with a hanging pacifier and with blood on his little hands. She said, “Oh for heaven’s sake, what happened?”

She stood there in shock while the baby crawled up those boots, pulled himself up on her apron and somehow reached in her dress and started sucking her nipple. He was drooling and gnawing on her in a frenzy because his gums were hurting. He went from one to the other and the woman froze because it somehow felt sensuous. Blood was oozing out of those little bites he made on her body. She buckled to her knees.

Somehow because Zander was in him, he wriggled under her dress and was nibbling her clit, biting her thighs. She was beside herself. What is happening? But still, she couldn’t speak. She was stunned, blissful and shocked! She heard deep moans like a man finding pleasure, but it was the little boy. She fainted.

Zander made the baby scream again because he liked hearing all the animal noises respond. He walked into the man’s house, and with those little baby fingers, Zander made him steal stuff like rings and necklaces and shit.

After the fun of the farms was over and because it was dark now with the stars shining bright, baby AJ/Zander walked back home, and he crawled into bed beside his uncle Lars and went to sleep. Over in the night, Lars used the bathroom and noticed the baby had dirty feet and was that blood on his bib, on his hands? Pie on his face? What was that white stuff? Was that a ring around his pacifier? Is that a gold necklace? WTF?

Lars or by then Zander again, cleaned the baby up and they all went back to sleep, and the next morning Deidre picked her baby up and all was well.

There was news that farmers had died over night. A young woman said it was a baby in bib overalls with a binkie hanging on a strap. Some precious jewelry was missing. No one believed her of course and she was the only witness, but the cows went home.

31:T3764,

“Yes ma!”

“Yes maam.”

“Well, I’m glad, son, glad that you’re here but why didn’t you tell us?”
