The Innocent Persian Cat
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful Persian cat named Lucy. Lucy was not just any cat — she was incredibly gentle and innocent. Even when she was hungry, she never meowed loudly or demanded food impatiently. Instead, she would quietly sit near her owner, waiting for her to feed her by hand, just like she had been used to since she was a kitten.
Lucy’s owner, Ayesha, loved her dearly. Lucy was like a child to her — her soft purrs, fluffy fur, and trusting eyes made Ayesha’s days brighter. Every meal time, Ayesha would lovingly feed Lucy bit by bit, watching her munch happily and softly purr in return.
One sunny afternoon, Ayesha was busy in the kitchen when she realized she hadn’t seen Lucy for a while. She looked around the house but couldn’t find her. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Lucy sitting calmly on the edge of the balcony railing, staring curiously at the world below.
Fear gripped Ayesha’s heart. She imagined the worst — what if Lucy slipped and fell? Her hands trembled but she knew she couldn’t startle Lucy. Slowly, step by step, she tiptoed towards the balcony, whispering Lucy’s name softly so she wouldn’t get scared.
When Ayesha finally reached the balcony, she gently picked Lucy up in her arms, hugging her tightly. Tears rolled down Ayesha’s cheeks as she kissed Lucy’s head again and again, thanking God that her innocent little cat was safe. Lucy, feeling the warmth of her owner’s love, snuggled closer, purring softly as if to say, “I’m safe.”
From that day on, Ayesha made sure the balcony door stayed closed. She fed Lucy
with even more love and care, grateful for every moment she had with her innocent little companion — her Lucy, who asked for nothing but love and gave endless love in return.
