In a vast jungle, where animals would play and fight, lived a fox. He was very clever and greedy. He would always steal from others and he was never caught. “ Hahaha! I am so clever… no one has ever come this close to catch me”.
Winter was just around the corner and the fox had saved a lot of food but his greed asked for more. While he was in the forest searching for more food, he saw a lion hunting a big buffalo. He said to himself, “ This lion has made my work easier… if I steal from him, I will have enough food for the year.”
The fox decided to follow him to his cave. As the lion approached the cave, he felt like someone was following him. So the lion decided to check. He went towards its cave and purposely left the cave. The fox saw it and he said, “ The lion has left the cave… now is my chance.”
As soon as the fox entered the lion’s cave, the lion cornered him. The fox was terrified. The lion said, “ You greedy fox! Trying to steal from me!”
The lion started to attack the fox and the fox cried for help but no one dared to stop the lion. The fox was hunted by the lion.
Moral: Never be greedy or else you will be in trouble.
