⚔️ CHAPTER 1: The Boy the World Forgot
[Panel 1 – Dawn over a misty valley]
Narration:
In an age of technology and concrete, few remember the whispers of Qi that once filled the earth.
But beneath the steel cities, ancient powers still slumber.
[Panel 2 – A small countryside village surrounded by fog]
Narration:
And in one forgotten corner of the world, a boy named R.P. was born…
…a boy the heavens refused to bless.
Scene 1 — The Family of Seven
[Panel 3 – A small wooden house with smoke from the chimney]
Children laugh inside, the house patched with worn planks.
[Panel 4 – Inside the house: R.P., around 8 years old, thin but bright-eyed, sits beside his siblings.]
Elder brother: Ronan Jr., 19, working in the fields.
Second brother: Darin, 16, helps their father.
Third brother: Kai, 12, loud and mischievous.
Elder sister: Mirae, 14, teaches the younger ones.
Younger sister: Luna, 5, cheerful and innocent.
R.P., the second youngest, quiet but kind-eyed.
[Panel 5 – Their mother (Elara) cooks thin soup; father (Ronan) repairs a chair.]
Elara: (smiling) “Eat slowly, everyone. There’s not much, but it’s warm.”
Luna: “Mama, can we have meat next time?”
Elara: (soft laugh) “Maybe when your father wrestles a boar, little one.”
Ronan: “If I survive the taxes first!”
[Panel 6 – Everyone laughs softly, except R.P., who stares outside at the fog.]
R.P. (thought): They laugh… even when we have nothing. Maybe that’s what strength really means.
Scene 2 — The Mockery of the Village
[Panel 7 – Village center. Children playing; R.P. walks by carrying firewood.]
Villager child: “Hey, it’s the cursed boy again!”
R.P. (stops, silent)
Villager teen: “Didn’t your family’s crops rot last year? Must be your bad luck!”
[Panel 8 – R.P. clenches his fists but lowers his head.]
R.P. (thought): Why fight them? Father says pity is a poison.
[Panel 9 – Kai runs in, angry.]
Kai: “Hey! Leave my brother alone!”
Villager teen: “Hah! The poor brothers defend each other! How touching.”
[Panel 10 – They shove Kai; R.P. drops the firewood.]
R.P. (yells): “Stop it!”
[Panel 11 – A strange gust of wind bursts around him, scattering leaves.]
Villager teen: “W-What was that…?”
[Panel 12 – R.P. looks at his hands, terrified.]
R.P. (thought): That… didn’t come from the wind.
Scene 3 — The Whisper Beneath the Mountain
[Panel 13 – Night. R.P. sits outside, looking up at the stars.]
Mirae (off-screen): “You’re quiet again, R.P.”
R.P.: “Just thinking, sis. About what Father said… that the world has spirits.”
Mirae: (smiles sadly) “Those are just old stories. No one cultivates Qi anymore.”
R.P.: “But… what if they do? What if the heavens just forgot about us?”
Mirae: “Then maybe it’s better that way. The heavens always take more than they give.”
[Panel 14 – A shooting star streaks across the sky. R.P. watches.]
R.P. (thought): Then maybe… I’ll make them remember.
Scene 4 — Years Later, the Weight of Survival
[Panel 15 – Fast-forward montage: The siblings working, the parents aging, the house falling apart.]
Narration:
Time passes mercilessly.
The weak grow weaker.
And dreams become debts.
[Panel 16 – R.P., now 18, carries sacks of rice to the city.]
Merchant: “You again? Payment’s late. Next time, don’t come.”
R.P. (bows): “Yes, sir.”
Merchant: “Always the same — poor family, no future. Why bother?”
[Panel 17 – R.P. walks home, fists trembling.]
R.P. (thought): They think we’re dirt. But one day… I’ll rise so high they won’t even see me.
Scene 5 — The Awakening (Age 40)
[Panel 18 – Night in a storm. R.P., older, weathered, carrying a lantern through the forest.]
Narration:
Decades later.
The world changed, but his life did not.
[Panel 19 – He finds a cave glowing faintly from within.]
R.P.: “...What is that light?”
[Panel 20 – Inside: ancient carvings glowing like constellations.]
R.P. (touches the wall): “Strange… It feels alive.”
[Panel 21 – Light bursts out, consuming him.]
Voice (mysterious): “At last… a soul unbroken.”
[Panel 22 – Vision of celestial cultivators shattering mountains.]
Voice: “You carry the Eternal Meridian — sealed since birth. Awaken it… or be destroyed by it.”
[Panel 23 – R.P. screams in pain as veins glow like molten gold.]
R.P.: “Aaaagh—!”
Voice: “Endure, mortal. Endure… and ascend.”
[Panel 24 – His scream echoes into the night.]
Narration:
That night, the heavens wept…
…and the man forgotten by all was finally seen by the universe.
