Challenges are but a bittersweet tonic that life has put on the ways of man (emphasis on the wise and courageous ones) to spur them to achieve what hitherto seems impossible, for without difficulties, man's life would have been devoid of innovations and critical thinking
The barrier between you and your success is you. The problems we face as individuals can be surmounted we see such as an opportunity rather than an impediment. Difficult situations present us with a golden opportunity to look deeper within yourself and put our thinking cap on, carefully do an analysis of the challenges with a view to finding the appropriate remedy
The first practical step is to do a surgical examination of the problem(s) in order to understand its magnitude. Thereafter, now armed with a better understanding of what's at stake, proceed to map out practical strategy on how best to solve it while also putting in place a contingency plan to manage the feedback and work out a realistic expectation as to the end game
Man is wired to solve problems and as such whenever you are confronted with a challenge, do not withdrawn into self defeatist mode by simply running away thinking by so doing it (problem) would vanish. Rather, be courageous and think smarter than the previous state you were before the arrival of the problem
As far as you exist, life must throw challenges at you and your ability to rise up to the occasion and make the best out of it is what actually stands you out from a failure
Your biggest enemy is the enemy within; your innate self whispering to you that the problem you are confronted with is way bigger than you, and you giving in to such whisper is the very beginning of your failure. Challenges in itself is a call to self discovery; it enable you to discover the hidden potentials you never knew you had. In fact, confronting problems brings out the courage, intellect, patience and many other innate qualities that you hardly took notice of before now
Calmness in the face of a challenge is a recipe for finding solution to the problem because it would enable you to think right and smart. Nervousness can only but lead to self disorganisation which can only lead to disjointed thoughts devoid of any meaningful solution
Confront your worst fear with the ferociousness cum strength of a lion, apply the tenacity of a bedbug by not withdrawing while at the same time employing the patience of a dove and in the end you would come out better, stronger, wiser, more informed and better placed to solve more problems in the future
Bury this in your subconsciousness that the only enemy holding back is the very one within yourself. Cast it out with critical thinking and the sky would definitely be your beginning rather than a limit.
