It was a lonely night for her. She looked outside the window and to calm herself from the stress that she was under. Life was never easy for Treesa. She was a shy and introverted girl ever since she was born. Her classmates ignored her because she was boring. She was left alone and stopped believing in bonds and friendships. People saw her as unhuman, but they never get it. She was just silent. No one was there for her when she was a kid. Her parents only saw her as a disappointment. They always scolded her and saw her as a disrespect towards the family. To get away from her lonely hometown, Treesa moved to a new city for her study. It was then that she found herself.
The first day of college was nerve cracking for her. Everyone was new and it felt like a whole new world for her. She didn't have any intention of making friends because she knew that eventually everyone will leave her. Nobody attracted her except for one guy. This guy had a curly hair, charming smile, slender body that would make anyone in the world fall for him. He was such an extroverted guy. All his classmates became his friends the day he arrived. It was the after a long time that Treesa felt a need to talk to someone. She knew she couldn't do it. She felt that she was not attractive as him. Treesa did love fairytales, but she never believed it. No man ever loved her. The boys from her school called her ugly and made fun of her. She lost interest in boys from that moment itself. But this guy was different, she was sure that he will never like her but there was a glint of hope in Treesa the moment she saw him.
One day, Treesa was having lunch alone in the garden as usual. This guy came near to her and introduced himself “Hey Iam Jack. We are in same class”. Treesa with a bit of hesitation told him “ Iam Treesa, Yeah, I know you”. Jack started asking Treesa about a lot of stuff including her family, her hometown, her interests but all Treesa could do was reply to him. She wasn't able to as him back anything as he was going on saying about a lot of things. Treesa listened to him and admired him. Soon it was time for them to go back to their class. Jack and Treesa walked back together to their classroom. It was the first time that someone was walking with Treesa. She nearly forgot how nice it was to have someone with her.
Treesa and Jack became friends. Treesa started talking with Jack. She was happy with him. The rumors started spreading that Jack and Treesa were dating. Some girls couldn't take it anymore. So, they started bullying her. The girls would circle around her and tell her that she is unworthy of being loved and a waste piece for Jack. All of them looked at Treesa with disgust. They throwed waste into Treesa when she was walking home. In the end, Treesa felt that it was better for her to be invisible and stop talking to jack. Treesa started ignoring Jack. Jack tried talking to Treesa, but she ran away from him. When he came to know about the reason, he went towards Treesa, held her hand and forced her to talk about the situation. Treesa was in tears; she told him about her feelings of loneliness. Jack was frozen. With tears in his eyes, he started saying, “Treesa, you never knew how much you mean to me. I still remember the first day I saw you in class. I knew that you were unique. You had such a spark and beauty in your eyes. It was then that I realized that you were the most beautiful person in the universe. When I started talking to you, I don't know how to explain. No one ever listened to me the way you did. I love every single part of you. I love you. Please be mine forever. Don't care about what others say, nothing can stop me from loving you”. Treesa was speechless. All she could do was cry in his arms.
They started walking through the college doors. Jack made it clear that he loved Treesa. Treesa became happier than ever. She realized that being a silent person is not a weakness. True and genuine people will stay with you in in your original version. You don't have to pretend to be anyone else to be accepted by the society.
