Chapter 1
A New Reign
Once Upon a time in a realm there were two Empires, those empires were ruled by two powerful Emperor. One Empire was named Albertine which represented the Empire of Light. The other Empire was named Darkstar, which represented the Empire of Darkness. Each of these empires has its own emperor to control the balance in realm, but then one day the Emperor of Albertine, Luminous die unexpectedly. The king had no child to take his place as king and being the only Celestial with the power of light which no other family members could wield, and the other members of his family had their own duty to uphold in the world. So, when the king of Darkstar heard of this news, he saw it as an opportunity to attack the Empire of Albertine. But the empire had a powerful shield which protected it from it enemy which was the demon and the shadow men from the empire of Darkstar.
But without an Emperor was empire of Albertine was left defenseless and the warlocks of Albertine try to hide the death of Emperor Luminous, by using an illusion of the late Emperor, to fool the people of Albertine. Even without the emperor his shields were still strong. But as time went by over 100 years there was still no emperor to inherit the throne. And the warlocks of the empire were still fooling the people. But one fateful day a young boy came and wielded the power of light, which only the late emperor of Albertine could wield. This young boy is named Helios.
When the young boy’s mother realized that he could wield the power of light, she took him away to live in the countryside for the past eight years. But as the boy grew older, he knew that he was different from the other kids around him and he kept on asking his mother what was wrong with him the mother, but answered with the same answer repeatedly that nothing is wrong with you. But the boy knew that something was wrong, so one day the boy went deep in the forest away from the village of Falmouth to figure out what was wrong with him. But out of nowhere demons came out and attacked him. He was scared but then his body released a blast of light that repelled the demons away. The light was so pure and bright that the trees and plants around him grew bigger but then at the same time the light made a huge blast, that had shocked the ground around him and the demon teleport back to the Empire of Darkstar.
After returning from the forest, Helios was shocked about what had happened. He returned home and explained what had happened to his mother who goes by the name “Nova”. Then Nova realized that she couldn’t hide the truth from Lu anymore. So, she sat him down and told him the truth about him and the power he could wield. But not about her background. Surprised to learn about the power of light, Lu ran out of the house into the forest and started to cry. Confused and heartbreak about what he learned from his mother, then seeing that his tears can grow things around him, he started to believe and without knowing a burst of raw light energy came out of him.
But little does he know that the emperor of Darkstar, Erebus was watching him from Darkstar but at the same time the Warlock of Albertine was sending the lower-class sorcerer to kill Helios. And Erebus was about to send his demon to kill Helios. Once they arrived in the forest, they started to make their way near Helios they came out of nowhere and when they were about to attack Helios, they crossed path and was about to fight but then both sides agree to form an alliance because the warlock and Darnk had form alliance over the past one hundred years. But only the warlocks knew that the late emperor will be reincarnated. So, he made a deal with Erebus to kill the reincarnation of Luminous the late emperor.
After they made the deal, they began to surround Helios from every angle to ensure he wouldn’t escape from their trap. The warlocks puts up an invisible barrier to block Helios from escaping but when he was leaving the demons surrounded him and attacked with fire spells. When they shot the spell at him without knowing his and just thinking about being safe, a light barrier came out of nowhere and blocked every fire spell they released at him.
After the barrier came up and protected him it also released a blast that destroyed the barrier and blasted the demons on the ground and blinded the warlocks for a few moments for him to get away. He started to run away from them and race inside his home to tell his mother about what happened. When he told Nova the news, she panicked then told him “We have to leave this place”. He didn't want to leave, he wanted to fight with using his power but didn’t know how to use them. Soon after they discuss about leaving the high warlock came and blasted the house killing Nova in that moment.
In the moment of seeing his mother dead on the floor half burned up and thinking why he was not harmed by the high warlock spell. His power released and stunned the high warlock back and out of nowhere Helios used his power for the first time and hit the high warlock to the floor. In shock that he was hurt by that blast, he backed away and returned to Albertine. In shock of the event Erebus was angry at the high warlock and the demons for not killing Helios.
After Nova was killed, Helios knew he couldn’t stay in the village of Falmouth anymore, so he decides to leave to go to the Empire of Albertine. With nothing left to carry from his home, he was heartbroken and when he was about to leave the village his friend Stella stopped him and asked them “where were you going”. He didn’t want to tell her, so he told her that he was going into the forest to gather firewood, but Stella already knew what had happened to his mother because she had already seen the house burned down. But Stella was asking herself where he was when it happened? She couldn’t wrap her head around it. When Helios decided to leave the village, Stella decided to follow behind him. Without Helios knowing.
Twilight Road
After leaving Falmouth village, Helios set out on a new beginning in his life. But it doesn't go as planned when his friend Stella is found trailing behind him. He was shocked to have found her outside of the village because she had never left the village in the past eight years, they had known each other. Even though they were eighteen years old, he was surprised by it.
They both asked the same question at the same time “what are you doing out here away from the village”. In that time of sadness of remember the death of his mother, he began to cry. Stella was worried about Lu and mad at the same time but couldn’t bring herself to be too angry at him. So, they calmed themselves down and began to talk about the accident back in the village.
Later that evening in Albertine, in the wizard tower the high warlock Lorde was furious at the lower sorcerer for not killing Helios. But instead of killing them, he had a plan to kill Helios, he was going to visit Erebus the demon king in the Empire of Darkstar because they had failed to kill Helios the first time in the forest. When Lorde went to the Darkstar, Erebus was furious sitting on his throne. He was killing all the demon that went to the forest that didn’t kill Helios.
Then he and Lorde went in the other room to start talking about the other plan to get fully control of Albertine because if they couldn’t kill Helios, they were going to make Albertine a living hell. After Stella and Lu talked about his mother death, he agreed to let Stella come with him. But he knew it wasn’t going to be easy.
So, they decided to head East to Foxlily, while walking on the road to head for Foxily they saw a demi-human being captured by humans. By looking at this unforgiving act they stood up against the humans. But something happened unexpectedly, the humans had magic. They gained magic by draining the demi-human of their power.
The human was knowledgeable of using magic, but Helios and Stella were not. But another strange thing happened, when they were going to blast them Helios power protect him and Stella. Then he absorbs the raw energy that the human unleashed, and it makes him stronger. After Helios absorbed the power, it somehow shared it power with Stella, and she gained the power of sunlight.
Then she protects herself and Helios with the sunlight shield just by raising her hand. The humans were shocked he could absorb power from them. After the fight they ran away, but the demi-human was still too weak to move by getting grained by the human. So, Helios had an idea that if he could think about protecting himself and Stella that he could create a wagon to help carry the demi-human, and out of nowhere it appeared a golden wagon. Eventually the demi-fox woke up and the color and power came back, and the demi-fox asked Helios and Stella to carry them back to Foxily.
Soon later Helios, Stella and the others were getting ready to leave to head to Foxlily because the demi-fox were going back home to Foxlily so Helios and Stella agreed because they were heading in same direction.
Foxily Forest
A month has passed on the twilight road, and everything is calm, and everyone is getting along very well. With everything that had been going on they finally reached the Foxlily forest, but when they were going to enter the gate other demi-fox came out defending themselves out of fear. When they were going to attack the demi-fox who was traveling with Helios and Stella jumped out of the wagon and protected them. Little did Stella and Helios know that one of the demi-foxes who was traveling with them was a princess whose name was Aurora.
Aurora had the most powerful power of the demi-fox, so when she was captured the king and queen of the Foxlily kingdom were worried about their daughter and their heir. She was turning 18 years old “which in two days”. The king and queen invited Helios and Stella to stay in Foxlily to train his power and Stella. Back in the Empire of Darkstar, Lorde and Erebus made a plan to get control of Albertine, but they weren’t going to kill Helios, they were going to capture him and steal the power of Light that he controls.
Now that they had a plan, they needed to get Helios to Albertine, but they knew it wasn’t going to be easy. In Foxlily, Helios and Stella are training, and they were granted new power and spell. The king and Queen told them they had a portal to Albertine, but it would take a few hours to get ready because it needed to be repair. So, while the portal was being prepared and, in a few hours, it would be ready then out of nowhere Lorde and Erebus showed up attacking and demanding the king and queen to hand over Helios. But of course, they said “no”.
Then Lorde and Erebus attack the kingdom with their powers and attacked with fire and lighting spell meanwhile Erebus attacked with dark magic. The king and queen raised their hands to put a barrier up to protect their citizens.
But a tragic thing happened before the barrier went up; one of Erebus spells hit the queen in her heart. She fell to the floor screaming in pain. The king and his guards took the queen inside the castle. In that moment Aurora got angry and released her power, blasting Lorde and Erebus to the floor. They lost consciousness for a few minutes in the fire storm.
Then Helios and Stella blasted them with sun rays. After they left injury and Aurora rushed inside the palace in fear to see her mother. Bursting inside the bedroom and seeing the queen skin turning black by the dark spell. She rushed by the bedside crying and begging the royal healers to heal her mother but there was nothing they could do. The queen body was turning into dust but before she dies, she unlocks Aurora power of the Nine tails. Aurora hair then turn from gold to red. A funeral was held two days after the queen death.
Two weeks have passed, and Helios and Stella are leaving Foxlily the next day. Aurora asks them if she can come with them to help defeat Erebus. They agreed. In Darkstar, Erebus is furious at Lorde because he didn’t hit or capture Lu, so Erebus kills Lorde. The next day they left for the Empire of Albertine through the portal. When they walked through it broke and transported them anywhere.
In Reach
They reach Albertine but things are not good. The portal transported them under the Empire. They wander the underground tunnels till they reach above ground. When they reached above the ground, they needed help. But they didn’t know anyone there. So, while roaming the city they noticed something was wrong, so they decided to investigate the lower regions of the city. Helios, Stella and Aurora went to ask people in the lower regions to ask them to explain to them what was going on. But the people were too scared of them. So, while walking around in a circle a girl of the age of 18 asked them if they needed any help. Her name was Flora, and her power was nature that controlled any part of natural life. Helios, Stella and Aurora asked Flora for help, and she agreed.
But Flora said that she will need time to prepare. Because Erebus put a barrier that blocks people from using their power. But Helios still had his power. So, they needed to destroy the 5-core powering the barrier. Aurora and Stella wanted to try a new spell they came up with that named a “Sun Blaze combo”. Stella and Aurora said that the “Sun Blaze” would destroy all 5 of the cores but it would’ve caused a loud explosion. So, they would put up another barrier that blocks dark magic for a time being. But they would need to wait 2 months after they could destroy the cores to attack Erebus. So, when the barrier goes down Helios will have to put a new barrier that will block Erebus and anyone using dark magic. But to use this spell they would need a powerful incantation that they didn’t have. But Flora knew where one was, but it would be hard to get and take a week to get as it was being held by a powerful wizard who was not under mind control. But was imprisoned by Erebus. So, they needed to do a location spell to find her.
So meanwhile Flora and Helios were working on how to find this powerful wizard, Stella and Aurora were working on how to break the barrier without having their power. Flora and Helios were tracking the powerful wizard by an incantation that Helios made with his light power and Stella and Aurora went to the nearest black-market to find a way to help with getting their power back. They found a way to get it back, but it was protected by a powerful spell and guarded by a lot of sorcerer. It was a scroll that contained a “power breaker spell”. Stella and Aurora were going to buy the scroll, but the sorcerer didn't want to let them in to buy it. So, they were going to break in and steal it. So, they waited till night to go to the black-market, but when they reached the gate, an assassin attacked them and blasted Stella to the floor and blasted Aurora with a fire spell; she absorbed it.
Then Stella ran to grab the scroll and used it to break the spell and she got her power back after she rushed back to Aurora and blasted the assassins that were over Aurora then broke the spell over Aurora and they both attacked them with a powerful fire spell which blasted them to the ground. Stella then asked Aurora if she was hurt. She said, ‘I’m fine but they are going to pay’. Aurora replied saying ‘Yes, they will’. Aurora and Stella got up and walked to the assassin’s asking who sent you. The Assassin’s didn’t answer so Aurora and Stella combined their power and killed them.
Meanwhile Helios and Flora figured out a way to find the powerful sorceress named Rosa that they were looking for. It was a spell that allowed them to pinpoint someone with a high magical power, someone like them. They would use their power as a beacon to hone other people with high magical abilities. They combined their power and founded Rosa. She was locked in a tower by the city limits in the northern part. Even though Rosa was imprisoned for her magic power of foresight, she was excepting them. When they reached Helios blasted the door then walked inside the tower. Rosa came out of the shadow of the tower and told Helios and Flora that she knew what happened to the previous emperor of Albertine. Rosa explained that he died because Erebus and a mysterious person use the power of the darkest of dark magic to kill him. But said that it was the mysterious person that killed him with a sword made of darkness.
Finally, out of nowhere a beam of darkness blasted them out of the tower and destroyed the tower. Erebus showed up with Aurora and Stella unconscious as a result of him blasting them with dark magic. Erebus was going to attack again but Helios put up a barrier that shielded them. Helios then asked Rosa to help Flora and save his friends. She agreed. Helios then blasts Erebus with light particles and hits him away for them. He then fly's with wings made of light and flies at high speed to where Erebus is. On the other hand, Rosa and Flora are fighting the sorcerer under Erebus mine control spell but not killing them. In the end they won, over by Helios and Erebus a loud bang was heard from the city limits. It was caused by dark and light particles hitting each other. Erebus got injured in the blast radius and Helios walked up and blasted Erebus through the castle building and out of nowhere a mystery person came and said, “THANK YOU FOR WAKING UP MY BROTHER POWER". Helios came and the man was gone, Helios then walked up and with a sword made of light and stabbed him in Erebus heart killing him in the process.
