It was her first day of in first year graduation class. She was entering in new phase of her life. Anu as soon as she entered in the room started searching for a desk to sit. Then she suddenly realised one of the girls whom she met during the entrance examination calling her to sit next to her. Realising that there is someone she knows, not closely but yet someone she could discover the new place with, she relieved and went to her. After a few minutes professor entered in their hall, everyone silenced without any remark. Everyone was equally nervous, existed and enthusiastic as her. Soon professor started his first interaction with the students. He introduced himself, realising that few of history students are nervous , he took a jest on upcoming year and students, filling the hall with laughter and fun. In that lighted atmosphere he started his first lecture. In the middle of the lecture he asked a question . In just two seconds when everyone was processing and Anu was about to answer someone replied . Anu was amazed. It wasn't because the question was tough to answer or answer was incredible but it was the very first time someone when someone answering before her. She took a breath, little jealous because of her compititive nature she tried to see the person . But he was sitting on the desk next to her friend diya's side. She whispered to her, " who's that boy."
Diya replied, "I don't know."
Everyone was writing but Anu was curious to see that person. So she bended little forward and started taking glance to the left side of her friend . The boy was wearing white t shirt, jeans and was looking really charismatic. But Anu couldn't able to see him because of his black mask he was wearing. But suddenly the boy noticed and looked at her . They had intense five second eye contact . His eyes got wrinkles at the corner as he smiled. As soon as Anu realised she moved back, she got embarrassed, little shy and hypnotize by his deep ocean eyes.
And when the class endedand everyone was leaving Anu was searching for those deep ocean eyes but he was already left. Anu was reminding of that five second moment again and again . She never felt like that ever in her life. She didn't realised that her compitition got replaced by admiration. She was happy while leaving for hostel and was already eager for next day .
