The yellow school bus came to a bumpy stop at the edge of a forest reserve. The sun was setting in the horizon, and the air was chilly. Hannah stepped out of the school bus, grabbing her backpack and looking around in awe.
Hannah walked with her friend Zara towards the camping site. Tents were pitched on a flat clearing surrounded by dense trees. Unfortunately, Hannah's tent was the last one in the whole row. "Why is our tent at a scary spot?" whispered Hannah to Zara. Zara replied, "It is fine, I am going to be right beside you."
As it was time for dinner, the teacher announced to all the students to gather up around the bonfire. The teacher had suggested a game of pass the parcel and whoever is holding the ball will have to share a spooky story. One by one the series of spooky story began. Meanwhile Hannah felt uncomfortable as she hated spooky stories, and instead of having fun, she was freaked out. After a long round of storytelling, it was time to hit the sack.
Zara wanted to chit-chat before dozing off but Hannah was super tired that she had already dozed off. GROWL!!! "Is that a tiger?" whispered Hannah. They saw a shadow fall through the tent. "Should we call for help?" Zara suggested. But before they could decide, the zipper started moving down, slowly and slowly. "HELP!" screamed Hannah and shut her eyes. Someone softly started touching her head. She slowly opened her eyes, and found out that her teacher was trying to wake her up. "Phew! Thank god it was just a dream," sighed Hannah.
