How lonely the night was until you reached me. Your edgy style captivated me without a second to lose. You saw me. I saw you. Who knew that the silence we shared would end so badly and boldly irresistible. The night grew quicker as the clouds danced their way across the heavenly ballroom. I sat alone, but you stalked me enough to know that. We watched each other from arms reach to the neverland. Everyone wanted your attention including me, but you selfishly only wanted mine. Our bond grew stronger as you walked toward me. The Earth shifted for us to be together as one being. It’s fate, Alex. How do you feel tearing me apart inside and leaving me broken? To this day, I go back to our spot and I still see you faintly there. Watching me...waiting for me, but you know I can’t get you. I question whether you came back for our love to mend, or if my mind has tricked my senses. Still, I see those clouds that we caressed as we small-talked and bonded over our wings. You saw the light in me to be your angel. I saw you put me in darkness and watch you leave me. That lovely person welcomed the darkness, you grew me into a beast. The sweet girl is a figment of a character in a fairytale. You made me who I am. Watching the clouds drag made me realize how much weight they carried. The weight you gave to me, made me sink underwater. My anticipation grew weary the more you lead on your “happily ever after”. Any figure can go from an angel to something much worse on a cloud. A no-named girl turned into a divine queen. Imagine having something that feels so perfect to be the end of your happiness. Countless amounts of minutes, hours, and days went by as I waited for you. How could you leave someone that you wanted in the first place? My heart never healed from the wound you inflicted upon me; I just grew around the pain. I was never afraid to get burned by the flames of love, but you hurt more.
