I left home one day and it was foggy, so I knew it's going to be a hot day. The sunrise was behind me, so I was admiring it in my rear view mirror but obviously had to focus ahead, then it disappeared between trees, so I kept on my journey, which is a kind of long road, and I was thinking different things. Then, as I got out of my neighborhood, the sunrise was ahead of me, so I can actually admire it...
Lessons I got...
1. We need to have faith and trust God that ahead of every gloomy or cloudy or whatever situation you're in, He has a bright day/life waiting. We just have to know that He has it waiting. In every difficult moment, hold onto faith and trust God, knowing that a brilliant life is waiting just ahead. His plans are always good.
2. We can look to our past or what's behind us, but we can't live there; we have to focus on the life/path ahead of us less we lose track of the plans He has for us ahead. Also, believing that the light behind us sometimes serves as a glimpse of the light that's to come. Moreover, the radiance behind us can serve as a preview of the illumination that's to follow.
3. Sometimes, after losing sight of the joy life brought because that door was closed, we are forced to travel down a long road. For some, the journey is shorter than others, while others encounter one challenge after the other. It may be death, disappointment, depression, whatever, but the journey determines our future. We also have to accept that some doors close because another is being opened, while some doors close because it's the end of that chapter.
4. When we travel that journey in faith, God always has a plan for us, but we must trust Him as we travel that journey. We will come to that place of happiness, that bright future. The best life we never imagined.
