Leila was running late in her class. She was banging her head slowly with her hand while running. She was regretting having to drink so much last night. Now she feels like her head is about to explode.

Leila: "Aissshh, I shouldn't have agreed to play that darn game, with Raine and Sheina! I wouldn't have gotten drunk and wouldn't be late!"

Leila continued running even though her head was throbbing.

She was panting when she reached her classroom.

"You're late" said by her Professor.

Leila: "Oh shi-"

Professor: "Shi-?"

Leila: "Ohh nothing Sir hehe"

Leila just scratched her head and proceeded to her seat when her Professor did not answer her.

She proceeded to roam her eyes around the room and saw her twin and Raine trying to stop themselves from laughing.

Leila: "How Rude" she pouted

Well Leila already expected those two but she was taken a back when her eyes landed on Ash Cullen.

He was stifling a smile.

A bit shocked because Ash doesn't usually smile, she just turned her eyes elsewhere. However, she could hear her heart beating as if it wants to jump out of her chest.

When classes were finally over, Leila sighed in relief.

She decided to go to the library to borrow the book she always wanted to read. Not a lot knows but Leila really loves to read.

She entered in the Library and saw that it was empty.

Leila: *Everyone must've hurried home since it's the weekends tomorrow*

Leila thought while shrugging her shoulders.

As she was walking, she finally saw the book on the last aisle so she quickly went to grab it, when another hand grabbed the same.

Leila looked up and her eyes widened when she saw Ash holding the book. She was about to say something when he beat her to it.

Ash: "It's okay, you can have it"

Leila: "U-uhh okay"

Ash: "You're staring at me"

Leila wasn't able to process what happened so she did not notice that she was already staring.

Leila: "W-what? N-no" *flustered*

Leila: "I was only checking you out!"

Leila said hurriedly but immediately regretted it when she saw Ash smirked.

Leila: "The book. I-I mean I was checking out the book!"

She uttered quickly while Ash smile widened.

Ash: "Sure....I believe you..."

Leila: "H-Hmp, don't flatter yourself"

But instead of answering, it was Ash turn to stare at her.

Leila: "Now what are you staring at?"

Ash: "U-uhm"

Leila: "What?"

However, it was his turn to get flustered now.

His cheeks turned red and he ducked his head down averting her gaze while muttering a little sorry.

Leila blew the inside of her cheeks before talking.

Leila: "Anyways, I better get home now. It's getting late"

Ash: "Okay.. "

Ash simply said while nodding at her. While Leila went towards the door to open it. However, the door would not budge.

Leila grabbed the handle again and shaked it strongly but still no avail. She looked at the peephole and then she saw that the lights in the corridor were already turn off.

They were stuck together inside the library, locked.

Leila: "W-what?"

Leila: "T-they locked us in"

Leila: "W-what should I do?"

Leila: "I-im claustrophobic, I can't stay in this room for a long time"

She was starting to panic and while feeling her breath quicken and she kept muttering to herself.

Leila: "ASH!!!"

She shouted with all her might and turned to Ash while tears were streaming down in her eyes.

Ash: "Leila? W-what's wrong?!"

He asked frantically while Leila was still gasping as she couldn't breathe properly.

Leila: "I-I c-can't"

He looked at her state and he quickly pulled her to rest on his chest.

Ash: "Just breathe. Just breathe.."

But he just felt her tugging on his shirt tighter.

Ash: "Match my breathing"

Ash said but she softly shook her head.

Ash: "Come on, just match my breathing'

He continued to encourage and Leila tried but all that came out were painful gasps.

Ash: "Leila"

He said her name softly and the latter looked up at him with her eyes puffy.

Ash: "Just breathe in and out"

Ash instructed her and Leila tried her best to follow.

Several painful moments later, her breathing finally evened and he sighed in relief.

Ash: "You okay?"

Ash asked and she nodded her head a little.

Leila: "Th-thank y-you" she smiled weakly.

He smiled at her and nodded his head. They were already sitting side by side near the door now.

Ash: "So we're locked here together"

Ash said that while rubbing the back of her neck.

Leila: "I don't know how we got locked here"

She said while rubbing her temples.

Ash: I'll try to call my cousin. Maybe he can get us out"

Leila: "Okay, I'll also try to contact my twin sister and Raine"

They both stood up and went to their bags to get each of their phones.

However........

They went back almost at the same time frowning.

Ash: "I can't reach him"

Leila: "I forgot my phone's battery is dead and I don't have my charger with me and I don't even remember their phone numbers"

They both sighed at the same time.

Ash was also scratching his head a little.

Ash: "Then I guess we don't have a choice now"

Leila: "We'll just have to wait until someone get us out of here tomorrow"

Leila said while walking to sit on one of the chairs.

Ash: "We don't have school tomorrow. Leila, it's the weekend"

He said and she sprung out of her chair.

Leila: "WHAT THE HELL!"

She yelled so loudly while Ash started to laugh.

Leila: "Why are you laughing? Is our situation funny to you?"

She said while glaring at him.

Ash: "It's just that, I have never heard you curse before. You don't look like the type to curse this loud in front of other people"

He said and Leila's cheeks went red in embarrassment.

Leila: "So what type of person do you think I am then?"

She asked while folding her hands in front of her chest.

Ash on the other hand put his hands inside his pocket and started to stare at her.

Ash: "The type who can make anyone fall head over heels for her"

He said that sincerely and Leila felt her cheeks blushing more intensely.

Leila: "I......"

She stuttered not knowing what to say.

Ash: "It's frustrating that you never figured out that I was in love with you this whole time"

She froze in her position.

Leila: *He is in love with me? As in me?*

Leila: "W-why?"

Leila: ''Why are you in love with me?"

Ash smiled and walked towards her.

Ash: "Because you are you"

Ash: "You're a bit clumsy, yes. You laugh at the littlest joke your twin and Raine throws at you"

"You sometimes embarrass yourself in front of others but you're still one of a kind"

"You don't do things to impress anyone and you just do them because that's what makes you, you. And you don't put up with anyone else's nonsense"

"I don't know but I noticed those things because I was observing you"

"It really was just pure curiosity at first because you really caught my attention except for the fact that you're beautiful, but time passed, and I can't seem to stop myself from looking at you"

"That was maybe the time I felt this"

Leila just smiled.

Leila: *He's confessing his love to me*

Ash: "I don't know if you find this weird that I'm suddenly talking about being in love with you, but I'm so sorry I don't know how to stop myself from talking"

"I'm sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable right now"

"It's just that, it all just went out of my mouth suddenly and-"

But Ash was cut off from mumbling when Leila looked into his eyes while she reached his cheeks.

Leila: "You don't have to be sorry because you don't know how happy I feel right now"

"You made me happy with everything that you just said Ash...."

She said it in almost a whisper while closing her eyes and moving towards Ash to kiss him.

Ash grabbed her chin until their lips met. It felt right for them to kiss each other. The kiss was short but sweet.

He hugged Leila tightly while the latter returned it and rested her head on his chest. She felt him kissing her temple.

Ash: "But you know we're still stuck here together for two days right"

Leila: "WHAT THE HELL, I FORGOT!"

Leila suddenly yelled loudly again while getting out of the hug. But Ash just laughed and grabbed her for another hug. She also laughed with him after a few moments and savoured the warmth that was enveloping her.

*Oh well. Maybe getting stuck together was not so bad after all*

As the hours passed in the confined space of the library, Leila and Ash found unexpected comfort in each other's company. They shared stories, laughed, and even discovered common interests. The initial panic had given way to a shared realization that being stuck together might not be as bad as they thought.

Leila: "You know, maybe fate wanted us to have this time together."

Ash: "Yeah, maybe it's a sign."

Leila nodded, feeling a sense of warmth that extended beyond the library's temperature.

As night fell, they made a makeshift bed using library cushions and shared a blanket they found in a corner. In the dim light, their conversations took a more intimate turn.

Leila: "I never knew you observed me so much."

Ash: "Well, you're hard not to notice. In a good way."

They both smiled, realizing that this unexpected situation had opened a door to understanding each other on a deeper level.

The following day, with no rescue in sight, they decided to explore the library together. They stumbled upon forgotten corners, hidden gems of literature, and shared more about their dreams and fears.

Leila: "You never cease to surprise me, Ash."

Ash: "Likewise. I've never been stuck in a library with someone so interesting before."

As evening approached again, Leila and Ash found themselves sitting close, shoulders touching. The library, once a place of confinement, had transformed into a cocoon where their connection flourished.

Leila: "You know, I'm really glad we got stuck here together."

Ash: "Me too. It's been... nice."

With a subtle shift, Ash intertwined his fingers with Leila's, and they sat in companionable silence, watching the shadows play on the library walls.

As the second day came to an end, the sound of the door unlocking echoed through the library. They looked at each other, realizing that their time together was about to end.

Leila: "I guess we have to face the real world now."

Ash: "Yeah, but I wouldn't trade these two days for anything."

Leila smiled, and they walked out of the library hand in hand, ready to face whatever the world had in store for them.
