When Black Rose was just three years old her mother left her. She was raised by her drunken father who didn’t care for her. All he cared about is staying drunk. She was made fun of all through school ‘cause she didn’t have her mother around. All through she was unstable and violent. All she wanted was to be someone who excepted her, that’s when she ran into a group of people that excepted her with all her troubles and trouble past. It wasn’t long until one of the guys named Luca sparked her interest. Over months of being together all the time, their relationship progressed quickly, until one night when she and Luca were alone. It was the night Luca was going to make her one of them (Vampire). Rose didn’t know what he was, all she cared about was she was alone with him for the first time since meeting him. When Rose woke up the following morning she was alone and she had bite marks on her neck and arms with blood stained on her lips. She couldn’t remember what happened the night before. All she could remember is that she was with Luca and everything else was just gone from her mind. All she knew is that her throat was burning and dry. She walked into the kitchen to get herself a glass of water, as she started drinking it she ended up spitting it out everywhere. Then something hit her hard all over her body, she didn't know what was going on. All of a sudden her hearing got stronger that she could hear people talking a block or two away from her house. Then she started smelling something like rust and it keeps getting stronger and stronger than when she realized she picked up the smell of blood, the smell made her throat start burning again, but this time it started feeling so uncomfortable like someone was pouring acid down her throat. She was holding onto the edge of the counter as her head started spinning with all these questions. She was trying to figure out what was happening to her. When she finally came to she realized she held a piece of her counter in her hand. As she was trying to gather her thoughts, she heads to the bathroom, as she turns on the light and looked into the mirror she didn’t she but a stranger look back at her she saw that there was something different about her that she couldn’t figure out. She saw that her skin was paler than usual, and her eyes had dark circles around them. As she was looking at herself in the mirror to see if there were any other changes, she felt something sharp stick to her finger and her bottom lip. So she started checking around her mouth to see if something was there that’s when she saw that her two top K9s were swallowing and sore. That’s when she saw that they were longer than usual and sharp. That’s when she knew whatever happened that night with Luca had changed her life forever. She needed to find Luca and the others, she wanted answers. But before she could think where to start looking that’s when her thirst for blood started taking over.

          As the years passed by Rose never found Luca. She had to find answers on her own. But she didn’t know where to begin, all she could think about was why Luca did this to her and just up and leave her and not tell her anything about himself. So she figured she would start her search at the library. The first thing she did was search by his name so she enters Lucas's name but nothing came up with that name or it said that name doesn’t exist. If she had his last name she would search by that but she never got his full name. So that ended up leading to a dead-end then she remembers thinking she can look up the address so she typed it in and hit searched and as it popped up so she started studying the map on the screen. As she was studying it she saw a street name that she knew well it was the same one where her childhood home was located. That was strange but she studied the map and as she was heading out in the direction of the place where Luca and his group stayed at. She ended up having a flashback, but it wasn't one of her memories they were someone else's. Because in these memories there was this woman that looked no older than her 20s and was holding a little boy in her arms with the same color hair as Lucas. Rose didn’t know why she just had that flashback or what trigger it.  When she finally looked up she was standing in front of the house where Luca and his group of vampires lived. When she started up the walkway to the front door something caught her eye. She saw that it was just a piece of plastic flying in the breeze. She got to the door and grasped the doorknob and turned in and walked into the house. As she was walking in she started looking around for any clues that might help her in any way. As she was checking in every room of the house she came across a room she had never seen before. So she got to the doorway to the room she saw that there were outlines of long rectangle boxes all over the room and way back in the corner sat a desk. All the long wall there were maps of cities and when she walked up to the last one she saw that her house was circled and beside it, there were a couple of pictures of her pinned to the wall. These pictures had one of her walking out the front door of her parent's house, the other when she was sitting away from a group of people from school, and the last one of her running errands. After she got finished looking at them she headed over to the desk and started searching through the drawers but they were all empty. Then she started on the piles of papers that were laying on top of the desk. That’s when she came across a picture of a little boy the same little boy she saw in her flashback. On the back of it didn’t have a date or the month only the year but it said it was dated before the civil war. Rose started thinking that the year had to be wrong because Luca looked so young. She thought that maybe it was a picture of his grandpa or his father, not Luca. She set down the picture and started looking through the papers again. She finally gave up when she couldn't find anything else. That's when she spotted a folder with Lucas's name on it. She opened the folder and there was a picture of Luca now that’s when she turned the picture over to look at the back for any clues. But all it had was a date on it when she read it, it was dated a couple of years back. She started looking through the papers in the folder when she came across a family tree. As she was going down the list she saw that everyone in his family has passed on all but one. She couldn’t make out the name but when she read the last name she remembered seeing it somewhere. As she was trying to remember where she saw that name, she started putting the papers back into the folder along with the picture. As she was rounding the corner and headed to the front door when she hears a noise outside it was a man's voice as she was moving her hair away from her ears so she could hear clearly, the voice she knew that voice she was thinking could that be Luca has he finally came back for her. If it was him, she can finally get the answers she wants. But before she does she wants to give him a good ass-kicking for leaving her when she needed him the most.

          As Rose walked slowly to the door the voices got louder and as she was about to turn the handle to the door the handle moved like someone was coming in. She didn’t know what to do, so she found a place to hide she had to find it fast. As the man's voice, she heard outside walking in it was Lucas, but something was wrong the look on his face says it all. Then another person walked in behind him she remembers him too but couldn’t remember his name. As both Luca and the other guy were looking around they both went to the room that she just left that’s when she heard one of them say, “someone has been here, look the papers have been moved and one of the folders is missing.”  She knew they would end up figuring out who took it, that’s when she realized how quiet it had gotten she was trying to pick up their movements but she couldn’t. She was almost out the door when she felt a calling deep down, she has never felt anything like that before, that’s when she turned around and saw Luca just staring back at her like he couldn’t believe his eyes. He was about to say something to her but he stops that’s when Rose started asking questions, “why did you leave me, what are you, why did you do this to me.” All those questions and her emotions all came out all at once she couldn’t stop them even if she tried.  When Luca started answering her questions he told her why he left her he swears he thought he killed her, and you should know what I am you are one too just a little younger than me, I did this to you so you didn’t have to be alone anymore you have a family who except you and loves you. All she wanted to do was walk into his arms and have him hold her but she also wanted to kick his ass. That’s when the other guy came walking out of the room it was like he saw a ghost she never saw a vampire go completely pale, she just looked at him and smile. She was glad that she found Luca cause she had even more questions about all that has been happening to her. The one question that stands out is why there were other girls but he chose me why. So she asked and he answered that they have been watching her for years, watching what she had to deal with her mother leaving and being raised by a drunken father how she felt unloved and unwanted always getting made fun of. Never could keep any friends always scaring them off or they would hear rumors about her. That is why he chose her to become one of them she would never feel alone or unloved, and he left cause he thought he killed her or her transformation but he came back cause he had to come for something that he left behind he wasn't staying, there is a battle starting between our kind and he can't be here or anywhere for that matter and he can't take her with him or he would, no one knows about her and what he did. As Rose watched as Luca and his friend started walking out of the house as she got to the door they were gone without a word.

          As she was about to walk out of the house herself she looked around one more time remembering the house where she spent some time here with Luca and her new family. She wanted to have some memory of this place just in case something happens to her or the house. When she was looking around she went back to where she was hiding and grabbed the folder she hid that had Luca's name on it and some information about him and his family. She is planning on doing some more research on him and his family's name. When she finally walked out of the house and she saw that it was getting dark she had to get somewhere far too fed and figure out her next move. As she was trying to find a place she can get herself a real place and the things she needs she found an abandoned trailer in an abandoned lot it seems no one has been there for years as she walked up to the trailer she was thinking about where to go to fed without bothering anyone. When she walked into the trailer she looked around and saw there was a bed at less but everything else was gone or had been taken. She hid the folder where she knows no one would find it. When she got done with that she headed out to look for food but where to go. That's when the smell of blood caught her attention she didn't know where it was coming from all she knew was she needed to be fed now. As she was following the smell she started thinking about what Luca said about a war starting between our kind. She didn't know what it meant but she was sure she can find some kind of answer somehow. As she was getting closer to the smell she saw that someone has been feeding here as she walked she saw her prey as she got closer she stayed very quiet and moved with one slike movement and caught her prey as she was feeding she remembered the folder she had back at the trailer she is going to start with that and about his family. The warm fresh blood going down her throat felt so good she got full off of one person she never took all their blood she couldn’t do that again after the first time after she was turned she took a life she felt so bad but she was so hungry, but she taught herself to stop as soon as she felt them pass out or their heartbeat slows down.

          As she made sure her prey was still breathing she lay them down and she went back to the abandoned trailer and was looking around the trailer for anything to make the bed comfortable as she finished with the bed she got out the folder and started looking at Luca’s family tree so many of his family were dead and it even told her how they died. There were even some of them crossed out like some little kid got a hold of it and started coloring on it. At less, she had the last name but as she was about to close the folder when something caught her eye it was talking about an inherited or something wasn’t too sure couldn’t read the writing on the paper as the paper was in bad shape. She put everything back into the folder and put it down beside her on the bed then she slowly drifted off to sleep as dawn was approaching. She started having some dreams about someone’s past it felt so real to her as she woke that next evening she was trying to figure out why she was having dreams about someone else's life. That’s the one question she forgot to ask Luca the next time she runs into him she is going to ask him about it.

          The next night she was walking around still figuring out where the dreams are coming from as she was walking she caught a smell of blood she looked in every direction but couldn’t find the source where it was coming from as she could smell blood and it was making her hungry. So she followed the smell to a very big house, there were a couple of lights on about one or two rooms and the front door was standing wide open. As Rose started walking up to the porch she saw a trail of blood going up the stair and to the front door then it just disappears. Rose wanted to know where this person or thing went to so she decided to enter the house she barely carefully open the door a little wider and took very slow steps so as not to alert anyone. As she walked around the house she saw more blood on the floor, and the walls, and as she was looking she ended up looking up and she saw it was on the ceiling, she didn’t think it could get up there. As she was walking she stopped short in one of the doorways in want of the back rooms and that’s when she saw a shadow she didn’t know if it was a person or an animal but it was standing over a person’s body, that person was barely alive she can hear the heartbeat fainting slowly. As the person or thing turned in her direction and it spoke her name she just froze and realized she knew that voice but didn’t this it was him, she thought it was just a dream or daydream really but as the person or thing started walking to her she finally saw its face and her eyes started to water and her mouth just dropped open it was who she thought it was Luca but something is wrong with him he wasn’t the vampire she knew something has changed in him since the last time she saw him. Something in him has changed but she doesn’t know what yet but she can feel it deep down in her that he is not the same.

          As Rose was trying to figure out what changed in Luca but as she was doing that Luca was coming at her with crazy in his eyes and a smile on his face. She didn’t know what to do she just stood there frozen in place like this can't be real she wants to run. She couldn't speak she couldn't move all she could do is look at Luca with her big hazel eyes. As Luca was coming closer and closer to her she came to and stared him straight in the eyes to see if Luca she knew was still in there somewhere but all she could see was darkness like all his memories were erased like he was just a shell walking around feeding on anything that walks past him. As she was trying to get through to him he came after her but she didn't run she stood her ground and she showed her teeth and nails which she didn't know could grow that long she was ready to fight him off. As he was about to attack her something caught his attention in the distance behind her and as she turned to see what it was, but as she turned back around to face Luca he was gone without any stir in the wind. As she was ready to stand her ground against Luca but whatever caught his eye had to have triggered something in him cause he was gone like he was even there to begin with. As she was calming down and coming back to herself she saw that she was still standing there in front of the doorway of the back room of whoever’s house it was that’s when Rose tried to listen in to see if there was anyone else there and if so were they still alive or dead. As she was listening she heard a fainted heartbeat there was a couple of them so she went to check on them that’s when she came across a body she couldn’t tell if the person was alive or dead, she tried to turn the body over and when she got it over she saw that it had a big hole in its chest where its heart should have been she knew that this person was beyond saving. She didn't know what to do but dig a big hole in the backyard and put the body there so when the other people come they won't freak out. At less, she can do that to help after the nightmare they just went through. Once the hole was dug and the body was laid in it and covered up, the next thing she needed to do was figure out why Luca was acting like that. As Rose was thinking she remembers seeing something on his wrist some kind of mark he even had one on the side of his neck. So whatever got a hold of him left him with those marks that didn't look like a vampire fight it looks like they wanted to turn him into something else a weapon maybe.

          Rose was trying to recall what happened the night before she couldn’t believe what was going on with Luca why would he do what he did to those people she was also trying to figure out the marks he had, she had to get to the library and look up whatever she had to, to figure out those marks he had on his arm and neck. She sketched it from memory so she knew what it looks like so she can start there. She started typing in some detail she couldn’t find so she adds more details but she still couldn’t find them. That’s when she knew she needs to start with some books that have anything about this mark in it. So she ended up asking the librarian for help and to point her in the right direction as she was being led to the section she saw that there were very big and very old books with some symbols on them that was when she walked by a book with the same mark on it and she knew she needs to start there. So she picked up some of the books and took them to one of the tables so she can get a better view of her findings and she wanted and needed to know more about this mark. As she was looking through them she came across it finally it felt like she has been looking forever but she found what she was looking for and as she was reading about it, it made her worry about Luca. It said it controls the host to make them destroy their enemies also make them a zombie and destroys anyone or thing in their path doesn't matter who it is. Rose couldn't believe what she was reading that's why Luca was so wild and had that craziness in his eyes. If it wasn't for whatever caught his eye she would be like him or worse he could have killed her by destroying her. As she read more into the section of the book she got more and more worried for Luca cause if he wasn't stopped or turned back to his normal state he would die from whatever venom was introduced to his system with him being a vampire and all how long would he be like this and does it burn out of his system or does it wear off. She doesn’t know the answers so she took the information she got and went back to using the computer to see what the internet had to say about all of this. She looked everywhere and still didn’t get her questions answered so she was at a loss. She figured she needed to finish up and head out to feed so her hunger doesn’t overwhelm her as it did a couple of nights ago. She has never been so close to taking another life cause she waited to feed for so long that she has to make sure she feeds almost every night or it will come back. As she was heading to one of her favorite spots to feed she saw someone in the distance she didn't know who all she saw was a figure of a person that was built just like Luca she thought her mind was playing tricks on her.  She kept walking but stopped every so often cause of the figure as she got closer she saw that it was Luca he had something in his hand and couldn't make it out but as she got closer she saw that it was a person's head. As she was getting closer Luca wasn't moving he was just staring at her. When she was face to face with Luca she saw that he was becoming even wilder and still had craziness in his eyes. As she started to speak he spoke first but all of his words were coming out slurred all she could make out was a war is coming and soon. As she was about to ask him where did he take off to where did he get the head and what kind of war but as she was about to speak he just vanished without a single word or sound She thought she was dreaming but she figured out real quick that it wasn't causing her hunger hit her and she knew she needs to find food right now. As she was hunting out prey everything started to come back to her and she remember that she had Luca's family name she needs to do some more research to come tomorrow. She found her food quickly and quietly she fed just until her prey passes out and she made sure it still had a heartbeat. Once she was done she headed back to the only home she had is the trailer. When she was finally home she got out the folder and put it where she could find it tomorrow evening she was laying down and trying to get comfortable but the bed wasn't helping anymore she guess she is going to have to look into getting herself something else to sleep on or in.

          As she was laying there in an uncomfortable bed worrying about Luca and what kind of trouble he is getting in. As she fell asleep she started dreaming about another life and another century as well she ended up waking up in a panic. Now the is was wide awake from her dreams she started looking around the trailer and that’s when she spotted something she didn’t see before as she walked up to the so-called counter she saw something it was built-in to the wall under the counter she saw that it look like a safe or something that held important papers as she was checking it out she saw that it need a code to get in so she started to look around the trailer for anything with a code or something on it that’s when she came across a piece of paper with some numbers on it so she decided to use the numbers of the paper and that’s when the safe made a click sound as she opens it she saw bundles of money and some other important papers and in the back, there was a piece of paper with writing on it saying that whoever is reading this I knew you could figure out how to get in and know that I didn’t make it and the money and everything else in there goes to the person who found these and I hope it brings you well she was trying to figure out who wrote it all it had was the letter L. She was so shocked cause now she has money and it looked like she has a new home instead of living in this trailer for the rest of her life. She doesn’t know what to think all she knew is that she is rich and she wants to figure out who wrote this letter. As she was getting ready to head out into the night she heard a noise outside of the trailer she stood there frozen in place listening to what was going on outside that’s when she heard someone call her name she got to the front door and saw someone hunched over as she was getting closer she saw that it was Luca he looked really bad he couldn’t keep his eyes open he looked really weak and he couldn’t stand on his own two feet. She walked up to him and helped him inside the first thing he asked for was blood as she looked at him tears came to her eyes to see him this way. So she decided to take him with her to feed as she was helping him out of the trailer she looked up and saw a stranger guy looking at her and Luca she has never seen him before. As the stranger guy started walking up to them Rose was already in fight mode she is planning to protect Luca at all cost. As this guy was standing close to her he spoke but it sounds slurred or in a different language finally, Luca translated what the guy said: “I am not here to kill yall I am here to protect yall and help yall in any way I can.” As Luca was don’t translated Rose started to relax as she gave the guy a head nod she said that she and Luca are going to go hunt for food and they would be back soon and told the guy to make themselves at home. Once they finished hunting and Luca got his strength back and he was able to walk on his own they started back to the trailer they were caught up from all those times they haven’t been around each other. They made it into the trailer and they saw the other guys about two or three of them and their leader that spoke to her sitting in the living room watching whatever they could get to come through to T.V. As she was looking around at the faces that were new to her she saw Luca staring at her like he was checking her out for the first time in years as she walked over to him she reached up on her tiptoes she started kissing his lips and as she did he took over she wrapped her hands around his neck and he was holding her closer around the waists then they started down the little hallway of the trailer to the bed she has been sleeping in as they entered the room they closed and locked the door behind them. They went back to kissing and started underdressing each other until Rose was just in her panties and Luca in his boxers he carried her to the bed and started kissing her again working down to her breast as he got there he started sucking on one nipple then the next making then hard after he worked himself down to her panty line as he got there he slides one of his hands down under to her center and he slipped his fingers in her and he was using his thumb to play with her clit as she was arching her spine he finally took off her panties and his boxers he started to an inch in and he heard her gasp as he enters her first he started slow then once she got used to it he picks up his pace. She started to moan and as she was reaching climb max so was he as he thrust into her one more time they both let go. After they just lay there entwining and feeling alive. Luca was holding Rose against him when they started talking about what happened to Luca and how happy she was that he was with her. He told her there is still a war going on but it is almost over. As Rose was looking over at Luca she still saw the marks that when made on him but they have fainted to a light color now. She started thinking if Luca didn't find her when he did he might have gotten killed or starved to death. As she knew Luca was home with her and she thanked her lucky stars.
