Sylvia is a self-declared perfect woman, and so she demanded perfection from everyone around her. One day, she was inspecting the bathroom in her mansion when she saw water stains on the mirror. She angrily called out her housekeeper Germaine.
"Why isn't the cleanliness of the bathroom up to standard?" she threw the question. "I should see a clean reflection of myself on it."
"I'm sorry, Ma'am," Germaine apologized sheepishly. "After my husband left me for his lover, I wasn't able to concentrate on my work." However, her explanation did not seem to appease Sylvia.
"An ideal wife wouldn't have those issues. You're fired, loser," she said without a shred of mercy. Germaine was shocked. She left in tears, but not before warning Sylvia," Even perfection itself can end up in my place." Sylvia, however, simply laughed it off as the words of an unemployed divorcee.
After cleaning up the water stains on the mirror, Sylvia joined the guests. It was the 5th wedding anniversary of her and her husband Tate, and she had hosted a party at their mansion to celebrate this occasion. Just then, her friend, Liz approached her. "Such a fancy anniversary," she remarked. "It's as if you're hiding an unhappy marriage." Liz then pointed at the earrings that Sylvia was wearing. "And what are those rocks on your ears?"
"What do you know?" Sylvia retorted. "They are diamond earrings that match my wedding ring, as a symbol of love and loyalty. That is, if you still remember what it means after 3 divorces." With that, she walked away to look for Tate. Just then, she heard noises coming from the guest room. She opened the door, and to her shock, she saw Tate and Germaine engaging in an intimate act.
"Honey, what's going on here?" Sylvia asked, unable to believe what she had just seen.
"Hey, let's not make a scene," Tate ordered, albeit in a voice barely above a whisper. "Now, be a good girl, put on a smile and pretend you didn't see a thing." With that, he closed the door. "What? My beloved, with our former housekeeper?" Sylvia mused. "But she's nowhere as beautiful as me." Not wanting the guests to find out about Tate's affair, Sylvia rejoined the guests. "My husband will be here soon," she addressed them, albeit nervously. "He has a, a meeting with the housekeeper." She furtively kicked the door of the guest room shut. She then stayed near the pantry and entertained the guests throughout the evening. Tate only showed up at the end of the party, which no one except Sylvia noticed. He was helping himself to the pastries.
When the guests were busy mingling, Sylvia pulled Tate aside. "I need to talk to you," she whispered, and they went upstairs to the master bedroom. "She must have slipped something into your drink," Sylvia said. "I'll just pretend nothing ever happened."
"This housekeeper was not the first one," Tate said. "And she definitely won't be the last." Those words shocked Sylvia. She could not believe that Tate had been cheating on her. As Tate left the master bedroom, he continued, "Remember, you're not a beloved wife. You're nothing more than a beautiful face in the public." Tears welled up in Sylvia's eyes. She was unable to fall asleep for a long time, hoping that Tate would return. Suddenly, she heard a noise in the hallway and rushed downstairs. Instead, she saw Germaine. Instantly, her anger was reignited.
"Haven't I already fired you?" she asked angrily. "Have you come for revenge?"
"Judging by your appearance, life has done that for me," Germaine replied. Sylvia's anger vanished. "You're right," she said. "I'm just as miserable of a loser as you." Instead of being offended, Germaine gave Sylvia a hug. "I think I know how to help you," she said. She offered Sylvia a glass of champagne, and they instantly bonded. "Your husband is a jerk," Germaine said. "And you are the most beautiful woman ever. I dream of being like you."
"The right makeup and a beautiful dress will help you look much better," Sylvia replied. "As for me, I'll spend the rest of my life playing the role of a cheater's perfect wife."
"Let's make a deal," Germaine suggested. "You give me a makeover, and I'll seduce your husband."
"What?" Sylvia asked in shock. "Are you crazy?"
"Not for pleasure, but for retribution," Germaine explained. Sylvia felt that the idea might not work, so she agreed immediately. On the eve of Tate's birthday, Sylvia brought Germaine to the shopping mall. "A new hair colour, a ponytail and a bit of makeup, I'll find the perfect dress myself," she mused. Unfortunately, she was told that her bank cards were declined and her bank account was empty. Sylvia immediately called Tate, who admitted to using the money in her bank account, saying "having 3 mistresses isn't cheap." Hearing this, Sylvia took off her diamond earrings and wedding ring, saying that she would pay with diamonds, and that they are 10 carat each.
When Germaine was done, Sylvia could not believe her eyes. Germaine looked stunning. "I don't even know I could look this beautiful," she exclaimed. Sylvia brought Germaine to a shop named Young Wizard's Store. "My parties are always breathtaking," she said. When they returned to the mansion, Sylvia left Germaine alone with Tate, and it did not take long for him to be tempted. Germaine asked to meet at the hallway, claiming that there would be more space to play. When nightfall came and the guests had arrived, Sylvia started to exact her revenge. She turned on the lights and exclaimed, "Surprise. Happy Birthday." Germaine was standing alongside her. Tate was standing at the hallway without clothes, and standing beside him was a man dressed exactly like Germaine. This shocked the guests. Just then, Liz appeared. "I knew he was a cheater, but I didn't think he was a pervert," she said. "I'm filing for divorce," Sylvia announced. She paid the man before walking away with Germaine, leaving Tate bathing in embarrassment.
