Chapter 1

SINGLES' SPRINGLES.

Sad at 40(Series 1)

It's Lucy - a beautiful young damsel whose age doesn't affect appearance. She looks so young that even at adult stage, she could still be asked to execute the responsibility of a wife.

.

How did she manage to keep the gloomy glowing body was a question asked by every man and woman.

.

Fast forward to her friend's birthday - Sophia, the tempo of distress was high as she thought that a kind relief could not be found anyway.

.

What would have been the relief as her mind keeps re- echoing?

No one knows.

.

Shortly before she left for the party, phone rings. It was Sophia.

' Everyone is on sit awaiting your arrival' said sophia.

A response to a phone call builds invisible goosebumps with feign smile to convince Sophia of a healthy well-being.

' preparation is on top gear, I'll be there in some minutes' - Lucy responded.

.

A slide to twenty minutes, a horn of a fancy car draws everyone's attention.

'Go and open the gate' - Sophia orders her gatekeeper.

What seems a shock becomes the talk of the moment as Lucy drove in and got every tongue wagging with an expensive car.

.

Though everyone stood still to give a wide embrace as a honour to Lucy for having blessed the party with her great personality, but there was a flame of fire burning in her heart, craving for one thing she never had.

.

.... even at that moment, no one knew she was bothered as she never allowed her countenance to be described by anyone.

.

She smiled.

"Ha! , Lucy, you took everyone by surprise with your expensive car '

Jessssss!!! Please, stop. - said Lucy while dragging Sophia to a serene secret corner.

.

'Sophia, you and I know that I haven't gotten enough of what the world brings. Untill, then I won't be happy with my life.

"What could be your problem? I wish I were you, Lucy '

' You say? You wish you were what?

'Yes, I wish I were you, I repeat'

Hmmmmmmm, let's leave it for another day, I'll let you know.
