One Monday morning Chidi woke up wanting French toast. He went into the kitchen and got eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, but there wasn’t any bread!
“This is a disaster!” Chidi yelled. Tabor was sleeping upstairs. But he woke up and ran downstairs fast as if there was an emergency. “What’s the matter?” he asked.“We don’t have any bread!”.
“Then let’s go to the store!” Chidi and Tabor walked to the grocery store near their house. But when they stepped inside, Chidi was surprised. It was Kung Fu and Karachi, two raccoons, their sworn enemies.
They were pushing a shopping cart filled with groceries. Just as Chidi saw them, Kung Fu also turned to see Chidi and Tabor.
The fight was on. Kung Fu yelled “HYEEAH!”
and shoved the shopping cart with a big push toward Chidi and Tabor. It flew at them at very fast, with vegetables falling off the side.
Tabor screamed “Watch out!”
and pushed Chidi to the side just as the shopping cart rolled past them. Chidi said confidently, “Game on!” Kung Fu and Karachi got a new shopping cart and a baguette to use as a sword.
Meanwhile, Tabor quickly got in the shopping cart. And Chidi gave him a big push. Chidi then leaped in the grocery cart and said” Tabor, we don’t have a sword.
“We don’t need one!” said Tabor, dramatically. Kung Fu and Karachi approached them, about to hit their cart from the side.
“Stop time!” said Tabor, laughing. Kung fu, Karachi and Chidi froze. Tabor got Chidi out of the cart changing other things to totally make them freak out, when he was done, he said, “Unstop time!”
Kung Fu and Karachi rammed into the cart then hit a pile of apples unexpectedly. Chidi and Tabor walked out of the door with the bread they wanted.
