End of September, yet heat abides,
India swelters, climate's lost its tides.
Eastern coastal winds, once gentle breeze,
Now bring drought, then deluge, with expertise.
The sun beats down, relentless and bright,
Temperature soars, day and endless night.
Rainfall erratic, floods and drought entwined,
Leaving farmers anxious, crops left behind.
Odisha's shores, once tranquil and green,
Now face cyclones, and rising sea's sheen.
West Bengal's fields, where rice once grew,
Now wither, parched, as monsoons flee anew.
Bangalore's gardens, once lush and fair,
Now wilted, dry, without summer's care.
Mumbai's streets, where rain once brought delight,
Now flooded, clogged, in endless fight.
Climate change, a harsh, cruel guest,
Brings chaos, disruption, and unrest.
Rising seas, melting Himalayan snow,
Threaten India's future, as temperatures grow.
We search for shade, for respite from heat,
For rains that nourish, not floods that beat.
But weather patterns, lost and awry,
Leave us bewildered, wondering why.
Let's act together, hand in hand,
To mitigate climate change's harsh command.
For India's future, for our children's sake,
Let's protect the planet, before it's too late.
