Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Riya. One day, as she was walking home, everything seemed normal. Suddenly, her eyes caught sight of a crystal lying on the road. There was no one around, and she was alone. As she went closer, a light suddenly emerged from the crystal, filling the surroundings with vibrant colors. Eventually, she decided to take it with her.

That night, when she took the crystal out of her purse, her room lit up with colors. Just then, she heard a strange noise and moved toward it. To her surprise, the crystal began to speak.

The crystal said, "You are a lucky girl!" Riya was shocked to hear this. She held the crystal in her hand, and the crystal continued, "Whoever keeps me with them is blessed with good fortune everywhere."

Hearing this made Riya very happy, and she decided to always keep the crystal with her. She added it to a chain and wore it around her neck. From that day on, only happiness entered her life.

Gradually, she stopped working hard and started depending solely on the lucky crystal. She even gave up studying for her exams, believing that the crystal would take care of everything.

She topped all her pre-final exams, but when the final exam results came, her scores were very low. That's when she realized that all her earlier success was because of the crystal, not her hard work.

She thought it was time to throw the crystal away, as it was no longer of any use. She understood that luck may help for a while, but not forever. After that, she started working hard, even for the smallest things in life.
