A Mother stood Dormant on her balcony one night, staring into the forest as if she was waiting for something to happen. The wind lightly displacing her long blood red hair. Its quiet, nothing to be heard other than a faint whisper resonating from the darkness below her. As she takes her hand and brushes away the hair that’s trying to blind her from this sight, she gains the purpose to move again. But, Instead of resting the moon asleep, she moves past the bed into the dimly lit hallway. Remembering what was and thinking what could have been. She gets to a door painted all blue positioned at the end of the long hallway; resting her hand on the golden doorknob, twisting it open. The Door gently opens, a shiver of fear invades her body as she looks at her only child asleep in his bed. The Mother walks with purpose yet fear and whispers “my Child, I wish you were perfect”. A single tear Scars her face with sadness and regret.

The Mother steps upon her son and calls out “I give this soul for perfection”. The boy's eyes shoot open but its too late to react.

The sun shows itself to the world once again, with a light fog setting at the foot of the guilt ridden home.

The Mother stood dormant on the balcony that morning, resting one hand on the Balustrade in front. A Candle on her bedside cabinet flickers with a slight rage. The Mother softly shakes her head as she smiles and turns around alluringly while her Olive green Night dress flows in the wind. Walking past the open flame candle putting it out with the gust of wind from her dress. She Stops as something urges her towards a Blue door, a few seconds go by as she stares at the door but in the end, she looks away and makes her way down the stairs passing pictures of children before. Every step creating an echo around the silent house.

The Mother goes into the kitchen and on the island counter, there’s a freshly made meal, A hot English breakfast. Without a second thought, she sits down on the counter stool and eats away. After she finishes this perfect meal, The mother walks up the stairs and approaches her walk in closet to see that an outfit was already picked out.

“you know my taste don’t you” The mother says clothes in her hands. She changes into the clothes given to her. A modern black dress with a slit in the bottom causing her leg to peak out and Black high heels around 4inch. Underneath the dress, she had laced lingerie for a special occasion. She looked into the mirror closed her eyes and imagined her hair shorter and curly. When she opened her eyes her hair was everything she imagined, it was perfect. The Mother flicking her hair politely lowers her head in thanks.

The Sun has reached its most dominant state in the sky, The Mother is getting ready to go out but gets alerted by a loud noise in the kitchen. She move without caution towards the origin of the noise but nothings there. The Mother decides to brush it off and leaves the house.

The Mother walks towards a town seemingly looking for something or someone. She enters a bar and as its around 1 o’clock there’s only a few people here. The male bartender, 2 guys playing snooker at the back of the room and one guy sitting on his own.

She walks over to the guy saying “hey Mr. what’s a guy like you doing in a place like this”

The guy looks up at The Mother replying in a mumble, unable to understand him she puts her hand on his knee as calmly hums to him. Finishing his drink she invites him to dinner but her just mumbles again. She leads him outside but instead of taking him to a restaurant she takes him to a wet and gloomy ally next to the bar. She sits him down gently on the pavement and caresses his dark greasy hair and saying “I promise, I’ll give you a perfect life”. The Mother Begins to recite something non-human as she places her hand on his head. She then takes his arm and lifts him up and continues to lead him to her home.

They both arrive at the house and the drunken man is beginning to sober up but seems to not be able to move. Then he remembers, The Mother placing her hand on his forehead and saying something. She’s still moving his body without his control. Its abnormal.

They get to the door but without contact, it opens. She steps into her home and gestures for the man to come in which he tries to run but still has no movement. They both walk to the bedroom, The man still trying to resist but There’s no hope. They get to the bedroom but The Mother went to the bathroom while the Guy was placed on the bed and he was forced to undress himself. The Mother picked the guy up, who was almost the same weight of a child now, and walked to the blue door but this time the door was open. She walked into the room and placed the man onto the children’s bed.

The Mother started humming “twinkle twinkle little star” to the man as she slowly backed out of the dark and blue room. The guy is crying for help but when the Blue door shut the screams turned of and the house became silent once more.

The Mother stood Dormant on her balcony this night, staring into the forest. She turns around and makes her way to the blue door at the end of the hallway and twists the golden door knob to see a child young and asleep in the bed.

The Mother smiles and says “This is your home now, My perfect child”.
