There was a lady named Ophelia who would go around slapping people when they made her angry. When she went shopping, she slapped the cashier for scanning the wrong price. At a restaurant, when the food was not up to her expectations, she slapped the waitress and yelled, "Your food tastes like those from the garbage bin."
On the bus, Ophelia would slap someone if they did not give up their seat, even if the other party needed the seat more than her. Eventually, to avoid confrontation with her, they would reluctantly let her sit down. She would then let out a smirk at the other party. When she walked past a handsome man and he did not approach her, she would slap the man and say, "Why didn't you approach me? I was staring at your handsome face. Couldn't you tell?"
Even when interacting with her friends, Ophelia was relentless. When she talked with her friends and they did not agree with her, she would slap them as well. "Why didn't you agree with me? My opinion is always true and based on facts," she would say, even though she was at fault. Her friends usually never talked to her again after that.
One day, a co-worker told her, "Hey, I'll be taking a vacation tomorrow, so I won't be able to file these documents. I need your help to do it for me." Hearing this, Ophelia got angry and slapped the co-worker. "Don't ask me for help. File the documents yourself. I don't have time to help you," she yelled. A few minutes later, a janitor approached her.
"Hey, Ma'am," he said. "There's trash under your desk. I can pick that up for you." Ophelia stood and slapped him. "Don't bother me while I'm working. Do your job right." The janitor removed his face mask and hat. Ophelia gasped in shock. It was her boss, Glenn. Shame and guilt filled her emotions.
"Boss, I'm so sorry," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't know it was you. Please forgive me."
"I've been receiving anonymous complaints about you, but I didn't have evidence back then. Well, now I do. So, this is how you treat people? By slapping them when they make you angry?" Glenn thundered. "My company does not tolerate physical violence and harm to others, especially slappers like you. You're fired." As Ophelia left the company building in shame, Glenn continued, "Oh yes, I'll be pressing charges. So be prepared to face the consequences."
The next day, Ophelia was issued a warrant of arrest at her own home for physical violence and she was sentenced to 2 years in prison, where she was constantly subject to physical violence by the inmates. Now in prison, she was left to face the consequences of her actions, with no one to save her.
