It always starts the same way—me, sitting on the porch, a warm breeze brushing my face, and the sky stretching wide above like a soft, endless canvas. The world rushes past, busy and loud, but when I look up… everything slows down.
That’s when the clouds begin to speak.
I remember the first time it happened. I was in the middle of one of those heavy days, the kind that presses on your chest. My heart whispered a quiet prayer: “Lord, I need a sign. Just something… anything to remind me You hear me.”
And I looked up.
There it was—plain as day. A hand. Five perfect fingers formed in white mist, waving slowly from the heavens. Not a coincidence. Not my imagination. I knew. It was Him. Saying, I’m here. I see you.
Since then, the clouds have become my messengers.
One time, I was feeling overwhelmed, questioning my purpose, my path. As I sat on the grass, watching the sky, a soft shape began to form. A baby—plump cheeks, tiny curls, smiling. Then another. And another. It was like heaven was letting me peek behind the veil. I knew right then that innocence, joy, and new beginnings were still within reach. That maybe, just maybe, my prayers for peace were being heard.
Then there was the angel.
Wings spread wide, robe flowing, a face I couldn’t quite make out—but the presence, oh, the presence. I felt warmth wrap around me like a hug from the inside out. I could almost hear a voice say, You are not alone. Heaven walks beside you.
But the moment that truly shifted something in me—was when I had given up on love. I had quietly told myself, “Maybe it’s just not for me. Maybe some hearts are meant to break and never be mended.”
That evening, the sun dipped low and painted the sky with fire. I looked up one more time… and there it was. A perfect heart, glowing at the center of a burning sunset, carved in gold and scarlet against the clouds.
It stopped me in my tracks. I gasped, tears spilling before I even understood why.
It was God saying, Don’t give up. Love is still written in your sky.
I tell people all the time: slow down. Watch. Listen. The clouds tell stories—not of weather, but of wonder. They carry messages if you’re still enough to see.
Sometimes it’s just a swirl of beauty. Other times it’s specific—like the dove I saw the day I forgave someone I thought I never could. Or the crown I spotted after praying for strength, reminding me that I was born royalty in His eyes.
It’s not magic. It’s not fantasy. It’s faith. It’s timing. It’s knowing that when you talk to God, He talks back—in His own way.
All you have to do is look up.
He’s already speaking.
