In the quiet town of Willowbrook, there lived a curious little girl named Manya. She loved two things more than anything else—stories about dragons and popcorn. Every Friday night, she would sit by the window with a big bowl of popcorn and dream about magical creatures soaring in the sky.
One windy evening, as Manya popped corn over the fire, a strange sound echoed outside—pop, pop, pop! It wasn’t her popcorn this time. She stepped out and saw a shimmering trail of golden kernels leading to the woods.
Following the trail, she found something unbelievable—a baby dragon covered in fluffy white popcorn instead of scales! His wings were butter-yellow, and every time he sneezed, popcorn burst out in all directions.
“Hi there!” Manya whispered in awe. “Are you… real?”
The dragon nodded and introduced himself as Poco, the Popcorn Dragon. He had escaped from a magical circus where he was forced to make popcorn for greedy wizards.
Manya gasped. “That’s terrible! You can stay with me.”
But soon, the greedy wizards arrived in Willowbrook, searching for Poco. To protect him, Manya used her quick thinking—she invited the whole town to a giant popcorn party. When the wizards arrived, everyone was laughing and eating popcorn, and Poco blended right in, looking like a regular popcorn machine. The wizards, confused and embarrassed, left in defeat.
From that day on, Poco stayed with Manya. Together, they popped magical popcorn that tasted like wishes—caramel for happiness, chocolate for bravery, and rainbow sprinkles for dreams.
And every Friday night, the people of Willowbrook gathered to watch Poco’s popcorn fireworks light up the sky.
