At a small town called takai located at kano state which is northern part of Nigeria there was a small family called Mr John family, the family background is small which they bearly eat two times a day sometimes once a day, Mr John has three children first born is female called Abigail, second James and last born called Joy.
Mr John wife died while giving birth of the last born daughter Joy, the late wife named is Michel the first daughter got married while James stayed with his father and his sister Joy, James ambition is to help his father but he didn't know where to start because he is too young then he started to looked for answer on how to he can help his father, one beautiful evening James and his father are sitting in front of there house, asked his father is it possible for me to you at this age? Then James was twelve years old, his father said yes son, James anticipation is to hear what his father will say next and do it because he is so desperate to see he started helping his father, then his father said the only way you can help me now is to study hard thoughts I don't have much money to take you into better school and obtain great qualifications, but I want to study hard and earn the best result, because life gives every individual person opportunity and I want you to be ready before that time comes, James understands what his father is trying to say well, thought then he is twelve years old from then he promised himself he will not let his father down, he finished secondary school at seventeen and started to think of higher institutions, he want to study medical lab but due to family background, and financial issues he have to stop and look for small work to gather money, he understands for him to rise that money he need to leave his father and traveled, he told his father and his father agreed James prepared his material and traveled to ibadan where he have one of his friend working at company there, James stayed with his friend Isaac for a week then he got a work at shopping store as security which the salary weigh is thirty five thousand per month, he work for five months but he didn't gather anything due to the food expenses and some family issues that he used to solve but he didn't give up, time goes like blinks of eyes where it reaches one year two months but James only gathered one hundred fifty five thousand naira which is not enough for his school program, he kept on praying with hope that one day things will get better like his father told him. One day while working James saw old woman she bought goods from there store but she can't be able to carry them all at once, James help her parked the goods and arrange all the goods for her, at her car booth the woman thank him but she didn't give him anything then she walked away, and James didn't mind at all, few days after that happened, the old woman comes to the store and bought something James help her again she thank him and leave, and normally if security person help people that comes to bought something at the store people used to show loves and gives something as token of their appreciation, the woman is widow which her husband is three stars ranked officer in solder but he's died so she stayed alone and she have no child, so she's looking for someone with good moral character to stayed with her and be helping her, what James did to her make her developed interests to stayed with him as her son.
One day early in the morning James come to work the old woman come and greet her she answered with smiles in her face, she entered the the stored and asked for store manager, she asked the store manager about James the store manager told everything about James she was pleased, she said I want to take James as my son I will do everything for him because he's a good man and he deserves a better life, the manager called James and explained everything to him James was full of joy tears is coming from his eyes, then he said my father is alive ma If you will not mind I will like to be visiting them time to time, the old woman said no problem and that is how James life turns around, he attended his high school and graduated with great results.
