It was a Sunday evening, me and my friends had decided to go on a quest for finding the best street food in the city. As college students we can only afford street food, it’s cheap and also tasty at the same time. I got ready and met my friends at the bus stop. We had already researched some mouth watering dishes and were very excited to try different types of tasty food. But I didn't know that at the very same night I will be experiencing the best moments of my life.

    It only took us about half an hour to reach our destination. We walked for a bit and saw stalls, stalls with all sorts of dishes, from spicy to sweet, we were already confused on what to try first. We somehow managed to figure out what to eat and started our eating fest. We finished eating and sat on the table in a garden by the road talking about random things. Thai is when it happened, those black eyes that blurred everything else, I couldn't take my eyes off of those eyes they turned away. I came to reality, shook my head and questioned myself, "Was I dreaming?" 

    I looked in the same direction and saw them, this time I saw her. Standing with her friends on the roadside. She was pretty, not the prettiest of the group, but there ws something about her that attracted me to her more and more every passing second. I couldn't take my eyes of her when my friend hit me and with a smirk said, 'She is pretty, but there is no reason to look at her if you will never make a move.'

    He was correct though, I am a bit shy and I never approached a girl before. But this time I decided to change that and wanted to just go to her and talk with her, but I had no idea how to do it. I asked my friends and there suggestion was to go there and just be myself and be honest. Her friends went somewhere and she was there alone, so after gathering some courage I stood up and started walking to her. The distance between me and her was only about 30 steps but those thirty steps felt like eternity till the last step and on the last step it just felt like only a second has passed. She looked at me with a question mark on my face and on that moment I regretted my every decision that day. She was still looking at me, I snapped out of my thoughts and shaking voice said, "Hi."

She now looked at me with confusion.

I once again, with more confidence, said, "Hi, I am Paris."

"Hi, my name is  Sydney.", she replied.

I was at loss of words, I didn't know what to say and I couldn't just leave after introducing myself. She just stood their staring at me and I was just uncomfortably smiling at her.

She suddenly asked, '"Hey Paris, is something wrong?"

I remembered my friends suggestion of being myself and honest so prepared of every consequence I said, "No, everything is alright. I... just wanted to say ...uh... I just wanted to say that you have very beautiful eyes and now that I've seen you up close you are also really pretty.", I said it now all I needed was a reply.

She stared at me for a moment and asked, "Am I the prettiest girl you've ever seen? Why did you approach me?"

I was supposed to be honest, so I answered, "You are not the prettiest one, but there is something about you that just attracts me. I don't know what it is but I really want to spend some more time with you."

Her cheeks turned red and she smiled at me and asked, "Do you want to go on a walk with me?"

I shockingly replied, "Now!"

She asked me, "Is there a problem?"

I said to myself, "You should not lose this chance.", and I replied, "I have no problems, but what about your friends?"

She said, " I will text them and I live near this place so I have no problem with going on a walk."

I messaged my friends to go ahead of me and I went on the most beautiful four hour walk with Sydney.
