Once there lived a village called all man to himself. In this village, every one minds their business. No one cares about each other. Their king was a very selfish and self centered person. He doesn't care about his people, all he cared about was himself. He made the people work for him like slaves. He also forced they pay homage to him at any little harvest. The people were so sad but no one complained, because they also were selfish to themselves.
One day the king of their village died and another king took over. This new king was different from the late king because he was kind, loving and cares about his people. When the new king noticed the behavior of his subject, he decided to change them and to unite them.
He invited all the male to his Palace and told them that, he the king of all man to himself wants to host the village. I will take care of your feeding but every man must come with a keg of palm wine. They all agreed and went home happily. On the day of the part, okonta thought to himself, I will bring a keg of water since everyone is bringing wine. I will turn the water into the drum of the wine no body will notice.
And Okonta went to the party with a keg of water. The party began, everyone was enjoying themselves! Eating and dancing until the king asked his servant to fetch the wine for him to drink. The servant went and fetched the wine for the king. When the king drank it, he spat it out And screamed, you ungrateful subjects I gave you everything but just one thing I requested of you, you all brought water. I hereby banish all of you from my kingdom. On hearing this, they all feel to their kneels and begged the king. Promised to be good subject from henceforth. The king forgave them. This was how the land of all man to himself becomes a home of love, peace and unity.
THE END.
