Once upon a time, in a village, far, far away, there lived a very loyal and protective dog named Lady Grace. Lady Grace was a shitzu with a heart of gold. She had black and white fur with cute, black puffy ears. She belonged to an old man named Steve who adored her with all of his heart. He also had a beautiful wife named Stephanie who loved to laugh and joke around. Both Steve and Stephanie were living a great life, drama free. She was Steve's "Guardian Angel."She stood by him during the most critical times.

There was a time when he was very, very ill. In fact, he was not interacting much with anyone. Not even his own wife. Stephanie was concerned. She loved him so much and took care of him and nurtured him back to health. As he got better, he started engaging in play therapy with both Lady Grace and his wife. Together, we were one small happy family.

One night, Stephanie got very tired and decided she wanted to go to bed early. On that same warm and cozy night, Steve decided that he was going to take Lady Grace on a ride in his scooter and explore the forest outside his gated village. Stephanie did not even know he was going anywhere. Steve was not very good at communicating to his wife. In fact, he did not even communicate to her at all. As far as she knew, he was wrapped around his blanket, watching T.V. Steve did, however, manage to communicate to Lady Grace by asking her in a high-pitched voice, "Do you want to go outside?" Lady Grace immediately barked with excitement as she wagged her furry tail, and ran for the door. Steve anxiously grabbed his leash, hooked it on her, and out the door they went. Steve then sat down on his scooter, turned it on, and snuggled Lady Grace between his legs.

After that, Steve opened the gate with his remote and he and Lady Grace wandered outside the village and into a dark, spooky forest called Coconut Graveyard. Stephanie did not know he was even gone. She fell into a deep sleep rather quickly. Minutes after she had fallen asleep, Both Steve and Lady Grace were well on their way to explore new territories as they began their journey into the woods. As they traveled further and further away from their home town, and into the woods of darkness, Steve and Lady Grace stumbled accross a new path and entered through it not realizing how they were going to find there way back. Steve enjoyed spending time with his dog so much that he did not even realize that he was lost in the woods. As it got even later, he decided that it was time to go back home.

All of a sudden, he realized that he did not even know how to get back home. He then turned to Lady Grace and said "Which Way should I go? " Lady Grace stared at him for a quick moment, and then started shaking as if she had seen a ghost! There were birds chirping and Owls howling. Seconds later, Steve accidently lost control of the leash and Lady Grace dashed out of sight.

Now Steve was lost and all alone. He did not know which way to go or how to get back to his village. As hours went by, Steve got even more frightened. He called out for help, but the only response he received was an echo of his own voice. Tears rolled down his face as he might have to spend the night alone in the woods with no food, water, or shelter.

Meanwhile, back at home, Stephanie woke up and found that Steve was nowhere in sight. Now, she began to worry. She couldn't find Lady Grace either. She knew right away that something was wrong. She knew that there was a forest nearby but didn't know if Steve actually entered inside it. For a moment, she began pacing around the house. Then she decided to go out to look for them. She rushed outside and looked in the backyard. They were nowhere to be found. Now she took matters into her own hands, grabbed a flashlight and entered the woods. She searched and searched with determination to find them. She found little trails of black fur on the ground.

As she followed the path, she tripped over a branch, got stuck, and fell to the ground. Shortly after she fell, Lady Grace arrived on the scene. She was guided by her keen sense of smell and came rushing to her aid. Lady Grace freed her by pulling her legs from the branches and away from the spooky woods to safety. After that, Lady Grace went back through the woods to find Steve. She searched with her smelly nose and there she found Steve surrounded by a pack of wolves. She immediately attacked those wolves until they finally ran away. Being an aggressive dog as she was, she saved the day.

Luckily Steve was okay. Lady Grace then lured him back outside the woods. There he saw his darling wife huddled beneath a tree, shivering with fear. Steve and Lady Grace came over to her and comforted her. Together, they made their way back home, with Lady Grace leading the way as Stephanie was clinging to Steve's arm. Finally they all felt safe and protected.

When they finally got back into their gated village they showered Lady Grace with hugs and kisses. They found Lady Grace to be a true hero of the night.

From that moment on, Steve, Stephanie, and Lady Grace's bond grew even stronger, united by their unforgettable adventure in the woods.
