"I want to fly." said the Koel, inside the cage. "It is stifling in here, and those large eyes, who feeds me with the bird seeds, are expecting me to do something, in return, of which I have no slightest hint. I will fly the next time, when the gate of the cage opens.

"Ah, there it opens." it flew over the head of its parent, disheveling the hair. "I am free." howled the Koel, out in the open sky. "The air of freedom, ah. I have never seen the sun and now there it is, shining warmly. The world is growing bigger and bigger and I will sing a song that no one ever have." it set out in search for the lyrics for a song - lyrics that is non-existent. "I am searching and searching for it and I could not convince myself to any of it. When I was inside the cage, the world looked so big, to explore, and now I am out in the open sky, it seems, world is not that big, after all. The search had left me out in the open, circling, without an end. Oh, this whirl is nauseating. I am not able to fly anymore." It clutched a twig on a tree. The sun had set. It grew darker in the woods. Alarmed by the nocturnal noises of the wild beasts, the Koel confined to a twig in utter solitude than ever before. It craved for the cage. And, in the twilight of the dawn, it could not bear the unsettling cawing of the crows, in the neighbor branches. "Alas, I need my cage." it cried out. The cries reached the sky, resonating as a song. Perhaps, that is my pet, thought the parent. A man woke up in the autumn morning as fresh as dew, pandiculating out on the balcony and pleased by the euphonious song of the Koel, hailed "World is so beautiful."
