After his mother's burial, he moved in with his aunt who he thought was kind, but only on the first day he came she was nice. After that she showed him her true colours, she was so heartless to the orphan child Garu because she always had a great hatred for his mother, that was why she never visited them when his mother was alive. Garu was shocked by the sudden change of feelings towards him. So one day he decided to ask his aunt about the sudden change of feelings towards him she hissed at him and said he should go and ask his dead parents, which made him remember the incident this made him cry because he remembered all the things he and his mother went through together. The wicked aunt punished him for asking such a question, he felt so sad and angry at his mother and God because he believed no more in God and very angry at his mother's death he always believed she left him on earth to suffer. Later at night his aunt sent him on an errand in which he got kidnapped and beaten almost to the point of death because he did not know his aunt's number offhand he cried and begged if the kidnapper's themselves could save him, but they just dropped him at an unknown place where he could not even retrack his footsteps back to his aunt's house then he was now lost and stranded.
There he started picking dirt's and other items to survive, his aunt was not even concerned about him missing. People were asking of him, but she lied that he was going to school or being sent on an errand . So one bright , sunny and hardworking day for Garu he found someone he knew from his aunt's compound, then the person also realized it was him and the person called him and they both discussed how he got to this far distance.
