One day, someone shows a pregnant woman in the back of the house that Zina just bought but the surprise is that she didn't even look back, she just turned her back.
"Why are you sluggish now?" concerned Matth asked me as I just sat on the sofa and thought about what I had seen recently.
"Really sluggish?"
"Tell me, I'm nervous about you. You're calling me while crying."
"How come someone shows up there in the back of the house, a pregnant woman. I called a few times to help her but she doesn't look back so I'm in a hurry to call you because I'm scared."
"You idiot! Why did you call me? You know I'll be scared too. Why don't you call your boyfriend?" frowning it says.
"You're more stupid! You know I don't have a boyfriend." I frowned in response so I got up and went to the kitchen to cook when suddenly something broke from the front of my door so Matt and I ran to the kitchen.
"You'll stay at my boarding house, you scared me!"
"Don't make any noise there, just play any song. I have neighbors so—" I said and turned to him before I told him what was on my mind.
"What?"
"Come with me, I'm just going to ask why someone is showing me. I haven't slept well for almost a week."
"But why were you just called now?"
"How? You're busy." I answered it and left him for a while so I could go to the bathroom but Matth, he didn't want to because he was scared so I just took him with me but he's going to stay the door.
Matth and I were already at the dinner table, quietly eating when suddenly something broke again.
"What do you want? Why did you break that here?!" Matt asked annoyed in shock. No one answered, there was no knock but only a cold air we felt so we stood up when the glass that Matt and I were using suddenly float.
"Please! Don't scare us." I begged even though I didn’t know who I was talking to.
Out of fear, Matth and I locked ourselves in the room, we also brought food and drinks in case we were thirsty or hungry.
It was three o'clock in the morning so our feathers grew even more in fear and very cold air, we did not use an electric fan and I also did not turn on the aircon so out of fear I forced myself to sleep even though I could no longer feel drowsiness.
"Matth—"
"I already know what's on your mind but no matter what you do you can't really sleep—" Matth said when he suddenly stopped speaking because something broke again.
Matth is right, that no matter what we do — we can never- sleep if someone or a ghost is going to break those glass things outside my house.
When I came out of the house, a lot of broken flower vases suddenly opened up to me but when Matth and I heard only one was broken except when we had dinner with the two of them breaking.
"What happened here, Ms. Zina?" the captain asked and there was a look of shock on her face.
"Huh?"
"What happened not—" the Captain's question repeated when Matth suddenly answered.
"We were haunted last night!" Matt replied.
The Captain and her disciples helped us to clean those mess and we make sure that no children could approach to avoid accidents. As we were cleaning the broken flower vases I suddenly hit an old woman in the distance so I went to it because I was just wondering about its signal as if she wanted to convey something.
"Where are you going, Zina?" Matt asked.
"Just going somewhere for a while, you take care of them." I answered it and hurried to the old woman. When I got there the old woman suddenly disappeared but there was a piece of paper left there so I took and looked at what was written when a map suddenly opened up to me.
"It's like I've seen it." astonishment I asked in space.
I went to a place referred to by a map so I didn't have even a single piece of equipment except for it, it's totally early so I don't need a flashlight. I have reached a mountain and I no longer know where the way home is when the sky suddenly darkens.
"I hope it doesn't rain today." I pray. I just kept walking until I could see a house made of bamboo so I hurried there because it started to rain.
"Is anyone here?!"
"Come in." the old woman replied.
"Why did you lose speed earlier?" I asked.
"Come in first before I answer your question." she replied. I went inside her house and she offer me to sit down.
"Wait for me here, I'll just make you milk." offering it to me.
I just sat there while my eyes were just focused on a photograph as if I had already seen it.
"This is your, milk and I brought you bread too. This is also the blanket, the rain is still heavy so you'll stay here until the rain stop." she said as she put down the tray and took the hanging photo that I had been staring at earlier.
"Do you know who they are?" the old woman asked seriously and I felt my feathers rise again.
"No — no, but I seem to know them."
"Like? Don't you remember them anymore?" Its a scary question.
"No — not really." I'm scared to answer it.
"This is the father and mother of your beloved husband and this is you—" she explained while pointing to a photo that I have never seen in my whole life.
"When you were young, your parents and his parents had an agreement that when you were eighteen years old, both of you will getting married." It added. "You two grown up with happiness until you got married but when you were pregnant with your first child you weren't expecting an event where you two were killed in—"
"That's enough! I don't have a husband and I haven't gotten pregnant yet."
"Do you want to repeat what happened ?!" the old woman asked angrily and there I still remembered that I was the woman who showed up to a woman who had just bought a house near a big tree where our happy memories of my husband were there and we were also ruined there.
"Are you ready to help that woman, my dear?" my husband Zak asked.
"I'm ready."
"Kari, Zak, remember that the person you will help is pregnant."
"Yes, we will be careful in what we do so that what she is carrying will not be lost. After we talked to Manang we immediately went to Zina who was quietly reading a book with her friend Matth.
" Zi? "Matth called while trembling with fear.
" Oh why? " and she turned to Matth.
"Yo-you?"
"What are you?" Matth asked his friend in astonishment.
"She's the one I saw."
"What—"
"So she's the one you've been with all night?" Zina asked her friend who was still not calm because of fear.
"I'm sorry why I copy your figure, I just need to help you."
"My wife is your companion Matth all night while Zina is in the other town to spend the night there and it's been almost a week." My husband explained to the two of them.
After my husband said what they should know, what should not have happened immediately happened, we could do nothing but with the help of their neighbor who was also our former neighbor they were saved from a married couple where whoever lives in the big tree they're going to killed.
@the end
