When people fall in love, they will have the most beautiful and passionate feelings for each other, and they will try to break all the norms and rules of the society to live happily with each other as a lovely couple. But life is such a mystery that nobody knows what will happen in the long run. This story is based on two lovers who want to be together forever, and things will turn out mysteriously.
Kalpana get up and fetch the water from the well and give fodders to the cows and other livestock, asked the mother. It was a chilly and windy morning, and Kalpana was not in the mood to wake up to do the daily household chores, but what choice does she have other than to obey her mother. Kalpana was a poor and innocent girl living in a rural village where the necessary facilities like the urban town were not available. Every morning she has to get up at 4:30 am and go to the well to fetch the water and give fodders tho the livestock, which was the only source of income at her house.
She was 14 years old and was in the prime of her youth. She has a beautiful body figure, but her attire would make her look like a shabby and ugly girl. She was the eldest daughter of her family, and she has two more brothers who are four years and six years younger than her. So, she has no other choice but to take care of the household. Her parents were a farmer as they were not educated, and they have 4 acres of land, which was the only source to cultivate and to harvest edible grains and vegetables to take care of the family. They were a very hard-working and happy family.
Kalpana used to cut grass and collect woods to keep the hearth burning and to feed the livestock. She used to cook food and take care of the younger ones. She used to go to school, and she was studying in the 7th standard. Every day, she used to go to school, and her study was excellent and was the most intelligent pupil of her class. There were 30 students in her class, consisting of 18 boys and 12 girls. Most of them were of her age and from other villages. It was the government's higher primary school, and the education system was not perfect, and most of the teachers used to skip the school and go to do their household chores. But on the salary day, they would appear and would take the classes as if they were very obedient and honest. Kalpana disliked the behavior of their teachers. But not all of them were bad, but most of them were lazy and would make excuses to skip school.
May I come in teacher? Asked Rohit, who was late for the school, and was in a state of exhaustion as he came running from his house to school. Please come in said the teacher and asked him, why are you late, Rohit? He hesitated and told the teacher that he was busy playing with his younger brother and could not keep track of time. The teacher became angry and told him you always come late, and instead of playing with your brother, you should do your homework correctly. The teacher did not give him any punishments but warned him not to repeat it again. Rohit, who was blushing with shame, could not stare at his friends' faces, went silently, and took his seat near Kalpana. The teacher was teaching mathematics, and the sum was quite complicated. Many of the students could not understand the procedure, so the teacher asked Kalpana if you followed the method of this sum? Kalpana looked at the sum carefully and told the teacher yes, I understood and smiled a bit. She was asked to demonstrate the procedure of that sum, and she did it with no difficulty. The teacher patted and complimented her, saying well done! She was feeling proud in her mind that she has done the complicated sum which no-one could solve. Rohit looked at her face and grinned. She asked him what is the matter with you? He said 'nothing' and looked away.
Rohit was neither brilliant nor dull but was a slow learner and was in need of a good mentor and tutor. He was from a well-to-do family and has all the provisions, unlike Kalpana. That night Rohit could not concentrate on anything as the sweet smile and voice of Kalpana was haunting like a ghost in his mind and reverberating in his ears. He was feeling very unusual as it has never happened in his life. He was very innocent that he did not know at that time that he was falling in love with her.
Most people think that the first attraction is first love, but it is not. We agree that love starts with attraction, but the attraction is not love, to love someone truly, one should know about that person a little or in full details. The same thing was happening with Rohit, and he was in a dilemma. He did his homework, had his dinner, and retired to his room for a good night's sleep but was not in the mood to sleep as it was haunting his mind wildly. He questions himself, what has happened to me? I could neither concentrate on study nor have a good sleep. Have I fallen in love with Kalpana, or is it just an attraction. Anybody would be confused in that state. The blossoms of love in one's heart is sweet and beautiful feelings.
