Hello Good morning, I am Jade I am 8 years old, and we are 4 in the family my mother, father, and my sister and I am the youngest. I hate my family they always tell me what to do, just like what are the things I must do like cleaning the house, fixing my bed, brushing my teeth, and a lot more like it was so annoying.

One morning, when I woke up, I heard my mom complaining about how messed up the house, the dishes are not cleaned, nobody sweeps the floor, well that tasks are mine hahaha I was just so tired to do those things.

My sister talked to me,

Sister: Can you please at least do your chores?

Jade: maybe later I was too tired. * as I rolled my eyes.

And my sister just snob me after that.

My mother called me,

Mom: do the dishes, you are always lazy in the house. You must have done that last night so you will not have a lot more things to do in the morning. * in a high-toned voice

Jade: yeah right.! You know what mom, why don’t you do those things, you always complain about what I do. You always misunderstood me it was so tiring!

And Jade left the house.

When Jade had walked into their street, she saw her friends playing and so she joined them. At first, they were all having fun but suddenly Jade bumped into her friend and she got mad. She yelled at her friend she told her rude things that made her girlfriend cry. And Jade got annoyed she run until she reached the river not so far to their place.

While Jade spends her time at the river, she heard a bundle of men talking across the river and they have with their guns, a big gun and so she was so frightened she hides on the near tree, she hides cautiously without making any sound and avoiding those men to see her.

Jade hides in that place for hours, she cried and cried, she was so afraid to come out most likely because she heard a lot of gunshots, a none stop firing of guns it was so loud that makes her shiver in fear. Jade stayed there until midnight she can still hear gunshots, but it happens once in a while.

After an hour of silence that was the only time, she remembered her family she was anxious thinking about them she was so scared to come out, but she is also worrying for her family. Until she got the courage to go into their house she walked carefully not to be caught by some men, while she is walking the down the street, she observed the other houses it almost crushed and some people lie down the street. Jade was so flustered, and when she arrived in front of their house, she saw the outside that it has a lot of holes that almost destroyed their house and when she entered the house it was such a messed, she looked to her parents’ room they are not there, she looked to her sisters’ room and there she saw her mom, dad, and sister hugging each other but they are covered with blood. Jade was so furious when she saw her family, she was so devastated such then she felt that there is someone behind her and when she turns around, she was covered with black cloth…

And Jade suddenly woke up, she felt her eyes are wet and she was in her bedroom, she was utterly confused. When she came out to her room and saw her mother, father, and sister, she cried so hard and so then she realized that all that happened was just a dream.

Jade told them,

Jade: mom and dad I love you so much! I am so sorry for all the stubbornness I caused you all this time. I was so selfish, I am really sorry I’ll be better this time. I promise you that.

Mom: what happened, sweety? Did you have a bad dream?

Dad: we love you too honey stop crying now your sister is getting jealous. * laughter burst out of nowhere.

My mom and dad hugged us both I and my sister.

Jade’s inner mind: I’ll be better this time.
