The day started with a heavy heart. I was feeling so low as if no one can uplift me to a new world. This is something which always bothers each one of us. But how to start this new day was the only question hunting me throughout. As usual just geared for a new day half-heartedly. Packed my lunch and started for the school. A quick look at the time-table and started the day peeping and teaching in different classes. My eyes when gazed upon by others looked dull and hopeless. Just doing the job for sake of salary, not knowing how to pick up myself from the shackles of haunting thoughts. With contemplating mind, I entered in one of the class rooms. A good and honest teacher started with the class and lost in the world of teaching and preaching. Suddenly, I heard a sound of crying and went back. What I could see was unexplainable, she was just 13 but burdened with weight of loss. Loss of mother, loss of voice, loss of understanding this world. She was silent and observing me. What I thought was not crying but an attempt to reach out to me with her thundering sound. A girl, who was very much normal like us once, has become void. A monstrous fever at a very young age took toll on her and disabled her with no movement and voice. I looked at her face and found a sparkle in her eyes. She had the hope to live life without dependence. She wanted to enjoy with us. She was trying to help me understand that life is move than expectations from life itself. It's all about how you challenge yourself each day and keep moving with a charming smile on your face. Her eyes told me the story of loss, desires, yearning for life, despair and finally how to remain happy.
