This strategic vision helped Bitar expand his business to 18 countries, which proves his skills in managing companies in different countries with different cultures. His strategy incorporates conventional business strategies with contemporary technological solutions, like AI in supply chain and e-commerce, to increase the effectiveness and convenience in the retail industry.
Apart from business growth, Bitar is equally passionate about social responsibility. Under his leadership, Tawfeer Supermarkets launched a heartwarming Christmas campaign where wishing boxes were placed in stores for children to write their holiday wishes. Each wish not only made the child happy but also brought gifts to the Children's Cancer Centre of Lebanon, making the children understand the importance of giving back to the community.
It is not surprising that Bitar has also been committed to the development of the community through supporting youth in sports. He has sponsored football programmes and has trained over 100 young athletes, and has allowed them to experience international football.
He has a Bachelor of Arts from the Lebanese American University, an Executive Master of Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, and executive education from INSEAD. This has been very helpful in the development of his strategic thinking and leadership abilities in education.
