"Why are they crying, daddy?"

"They lost someone it seems!"

"Means?"

"Someone is dead"

"Daddy, what is death?"

"It's the law of nature, my son. Those who born in this earth will have to leave one day"

"Then why do we born, daddy? Just to die one day?"

"No son, there is a purpose for everything in this universe!"

"Why is it so? Who designed this law?"

"It's way too complex to explain, my son!"

"What is my purpose here, daddy?"

"You will get to know it one day"

"You don't know the answer ah, daddy?"

"I have no idea, my son!"

"What is the purpose of this grass, daddy? Why it is green? Why not pink or blue?"

"It is as such since it was created"

"Who created it, daddy?"

"No one knows it yet, my baby"

"You don't know anything, daddy"

A playful innocent yet powerful philosophical doubts of a 5 years old son.

Children's curiosity often brings laughter and confusion. While younger ones are chatty, teenagers become more reserved. I cherish the time with my granddaughter, especially as she starts walking and talking. Her curiosity about the new things she encounters is delightful, and I appreciate your heads-up about the questions she may ask.
