Millennials:

A term given to mid generation.
We have inherited all responsibilities from boomer babies gen but got burden of guilt for thinking about themselves.
They were taught to be independent but only while handing over their life to earlier generation.
Where is independence in this???
Is independence only about financial freedom?
Why it’s not about breaking ties of guilt?
Why constant judgement?
Food for thought!!!
We got opportunities to make careers but not without household responsibilities
Baby boomers only had personal life to think
Millennials were handed over both.
Not to forget the judgement and guilt trips by formers!!
Where is independence only??
Where is happiness of being independent??
It’s high time
High time that generational curse ends
High time one generation allows another to live
High time we accept generations change for a reason
Change happens for a reason
Last generation wants to adopt modernity of new generation but not materialistically, not mentally.
They still want next generation to live like them but accept them in modern way
Curse needs to be broken, or it will eat future generations

Ok so Raina wasn’t the star or exceptional or chosen one. But just a woman with average life and average abilities…
As we talked about survival life, she was perfect example of it. What humans cannot achieve they either criticize others for it or try to achieve it. But she did none.
She was a dreamer; she will dream of everything she cannot achieve and will content herself with living the life in her imaginations.
No no she wasn’t a mental victim just an escapist.
Sounds weird?? But facts say that we all are dreamers to some extent.

So, she was a hardworking, sincere but super emotional person who seeks validation from everyone and everything.
In India 90% people do things just for proving they are one of the good crowds. Without thinking that crowd is actually herd of sheep.
But that’s true … at least all history supports it.

She was a big supporter of ancient system of women taking charge of house and raising kids. But… it doesn’t mean she wanted to be the one being weaker and dependent.
Why people think that by wanting to be at home, you are tagged as looser or surviving on others mercy. Nooo she was fiercely independent when it comes to finances. Just needed be home so things are being managed.
In fact, if we want to raise better citizens, kids should be made good instead of making them money loving, money respecting humans.

Raina being typical millennial, inherited responsibility mindset from previous generation and career-oriented upbringing from her own.
You know millennials suffered most among all generations as the curse had been heavy on them. Their parents told them what to do and their kids obviously won’t let them tell what to do.
So, our friend too was stuck in it.

Dream 1: perfect house setting near a river.
Few dogs playing and she sat with her laptop working on what she loved most. Her animal adoption plan had rescued various animal breeds. Was now working on animal abuse on religious places.
People go for moksha but unknowingly commit crime by pushing animals towards their death by mishandling them.
Why we humans forget that animals have same rights as us.
To be honest world would be better if animals run this world.
But currently the petitions are in progress against animal abuses.
PETA will soon review it and take action on it hopefully.
If you ask me, we should ban all celebrities endorsing for animals as they are all dual personalities. Talking about animal rights while eating them. Hypocrites all of them.
But what about food chain??? Which says it needs to be maintained for effective running of nature.
Hmmm ok so by maintaining food chain no one said using them to travel and abuse them.

Bumpppp!!!
Bell rang. Dream will continue.

So, coming to reality:
She had to get ready for office but before that doing household chores and making sure everything is in order. .. (like maintained)
Now enter the ABC corporation.
All shiny, showing, well kept. A typical hell that’s shines well.
These days everyone is working very hard as appraisals going on so needs to show the work at every step possible. Even if it means to snatch credit, staying up late or talking to a client near HR’s cabin. All perfectly timed.

Talking about showing off, our friend Raina fails miserably at it. She is one of those who has perfect mismatch of timing. By default, taking break when everyone watching and working till midnight where no one sees. Sometimes on weekends too but as they say in corporate you need to show more than you work.
coming back to present, she was working for the sale period and was turning into a zombie waking up at odd hours and weekends for targets and shows. But unfortunately, the credit is what she never gets and never cared for it too.

Bingo !!!!here comes appraisal, of course she doesn’t get fired but never got hike too …
The problem with people of low self-esteem is that they get content very soon and instead of getting anxious about getting more they get happy about losing more…

Dream 2: she walks into her office, and it was the day of sharing concerns, helping colleagues and motivating them. It was her favorite day of the month.
Such sessions surely reduce office politics and encourage employee retention. She heads it and doesn’t charge for any of the sessions…
Today a girl named Suman discussed how she struggles with her family and professional life. Her issue was that she had a child and also needed to work in order to support her family.
So, here comes the answer from our own counsellor Raina…
She suggested that Suman can come to office an hour before that will align with her child’s school and can leave 2 hours early to be at home to pick her child from bus. That was obviously approved by managed on trial basis. It actually worked out as it increased her performance at work and increased her loyalty towards company. By setting an example to all teams that company does have its human side too…
See how a small issue was creating havoc in a working mother’s life which had a very basis’s solution.
But does today’s corporate understand it?? Of course not. Another reason for less women employees at top and increasingly high attrition rate in women employees work force…
