A Gentleman was walking in an Elephant camp, and he saw that the Elephant were neither caged nor chained. To prevent the Elephant from running away from the camp, they had a small rope tied to one of their legs
When the man saw the Elephant he was quite surprised why the Elephant did not use their strength to break the rope and run away from the camp. They could have easily done that, but Didn't try at all. Intrigued and wanting to know the answer, he asked a trainer standing nearby, why the Elephant were standing still and didn't trying to run away.
Trainer replied
"When they are very small and weak, We gave them the same size rope use and at this age it is enough to bind them. As they grow up, they are let to believe that day cannot break the rope, the believe that they can stop then, so they never try to break free".
The only reason why Elephant don't run away from the camp and try to break free. It was that over time they came to believe that it was not possible.
MORAL OF THE STORY
