He called me disrespectful,
For a friend who came by while he slept,
A mutual bond, just a moment shared,
Yet in his eyes, I crossed a line, deep and kept.
But when he brought her,
Another woman into our space,
And let her linger, alone with him,
While I was gone, with no trace,
She sat beside him,
In our home, in our bed,
A silence filled the air where trust once lay,
While I was left with words unsaid.
He says my actions, a breach of trust,
Yet turns a blind eye to his own,
With double standards, and unspoken rules,
In a house once called our own.
How quickly the tables have turned,
In the name of love, or what we yearn,
But disrespect, it seems, wears many faces—
And trust, once lost, can never return
