Discrimination is a device contrived by society and societal traditions.
Discrimination reflects unevenness and a lack of equality. It is an act conceived by thought of distinction between groups and classes.
A feeling of unfairness and injustice brings about a broader discrimination. The major component of discrimination is the mentality or the outlook.
Commonly, we as individuals are required by other individuals and for the sole purpose of morality, to be neutral in our thoughts and opinions, as laughable as this is, I find it as only bonum fidei.
Morality is concerned with either right or wrong, therefore not neutral.
Human beings are basically and inherently different in thoughts and in views, because every human being possesses a brain and a subconscious. Addressing discrimination would literally mean addressing differences, so as to unify the individual minds of different sections and regions. Is this possible? Obviously No!.
The world has and would always be faced with discrimination at all spheres. It is a popular topic and very importantly, a permanent matter.
Discrimination is a lot more substantial than bare stereotypes and prejudices.
Painfully, we all discriminate, whether knowing we did or in absence of awareness.
The fight against discrimination is ironic in some sense because combating discrimination is a gesture of discrimination at large.
Justice and fairness sometimes is curious and deeply subjective.
The notion, that ‘We need to rise up against racism’ , is equal and in conjunction with demonizing and discriminating between races.
Our Society caused discrimination and individuals abetted it. Setting up institutions to curb discrimination and create awareness would be fruitless and will certainly bring about more complications in discrimination.
To control discrimination, I am of the opinion that leverage be utilized and culture be simplified. We need to start changing our mindsets about others simply because everyone has a different mindset which they hold sacred and not because we should all see things akin.
The act is not the person and the person is not the thought.
A United people aren’t necessarily alike. A difference could be either accepted or aborted.
Discrimination on the basis of unity is inconclusive and short of significance.
Society should evolve beyond conceits and draw closer to unity by differences and diversities.
