What is death? Is it the end or the beginning of a new and unknown dimension? We have been told since childhood those who study are entitled to ride vehicles with pride. We were told to have a great social stature. To have money to get respect. However, we weren't told one day everything that we have will perish. We will die and with us our hard work and our legacy will die. How many of us are confident enough on ourselves to leave a legacy behind ? Will it matter if we were using good perfumes before death?
How does death arrive? What do we, humans, regarded as the most intelligent species feel while dying? Will it matter during death which perfume or which designer bag was I wearing? Will the angel of death come to take me with him? How is he going to look? I have a theory he is someone known to us. Someone we have seen. Someone who will make death feel easier and a little less painful. It anyway wont matter to us. I feel like the angel of death is smiling upon me and he is in his shinning armor.
I can hear my lover crying holding me in his arms. I can feel his panic. The people surrounding him are clueless too. I can feel it but why can't I move? Why is it to peaceful yet to disheartening at the same time? That terrible feeling of numbness is gone. I can hear footsteps running close by. What are they doing? Trying to revive me? My loved ones are wailing. But I didn't want this before taking that huge step? Did I actually die or I killed my people? Am I the one who is dead or the people around me dead? Didn't have the notion on how many people actually loved me or thought of me. Today is the last day probably I'll feel them and hear them. They all are talking about me. Do I even deserve this? I wouldn't know.
