The Last Finished

It was the day each cricket fan in the city had been hanging tight for - the last match of the territorial title. The environment at the arena was electric, with huge number of voices singing the group's song of praise, waving banners, and reciting their hearts out. Among all the energy, there was small time who was as engaged as could be expected. Raghav, the chief of the group, remained at the edge of the field, peering toward the resistance. His group was down to their last finished, and it was time to take care of business.

Raghav's group, the Jaipur Birds of prey, had to deal with an extreme competition, and this match, the last, was the summit of all their persistent effort. They had battled through wounds, intense adversaries, and last-minute difficulties. Presently, with only one over left, they required 12 rushes to win.

The group paused their breathing as the bowler from the rival group, the Rajkot Lions, ready for the last finished. The climate was thick with strain. The arena, once loaded up with stunning cheers, had fallen into a scary quietness. Raghav looked at his partner, Anil, who had been batting with him for as long as hour. Anil was depleted, his bat was weighty, and his psyche was in a spin, however not entirely settled to keep on track.

"Only one more finished, Anil," Raghav said, giving his accomplice a consoling grin. "We can do this. Have faith in yourself."

Anil gestured, changing his gloves and taking a full breath. The bowler, a tall, strong man named Sushil, fired his run-up, the ball in his right hand glimmering under the lights. The group watched, their eyes locked on the game as Sushil conveyed the main bundle of the over.

Bam! The ball zoomed past Anil's bat. It was a narrow escape, however no run was scored. The strain was mounting.

The following ball came in, quicker than the first. Anil ventured back and watched the ball crash into the stumps. He was bowled out. The group panted in shock, and a quieted quiet fell over the arena. Raghav's heart dashed. They were down to one wicket, and his group currently had just a single opportunity.
