How to Chant the Divine Name?
In different religions, various methods are prescribed for chanting the divine name. But before I answer this question, it is important to understand that no matter how the divine name is chanted, it is always beneficial.
Just like a seed of any fruit, when sown in the soil in any manner, eventually grows into a tree and bears fruits and flowers - similarly, the name of the Divine, however it is taken, never goes to waste; in other words, it is never futile.
Many saints, sages, and spiritual masters on this earth have practiced deep meditation and revealed sacred names. By 'names' here, I mean high-vibrational words like Waheguru, Allah Hu, Radha Radha, Ram Ram, etc. This tradition of imparting the divine name is usually completed only by an enlightened Guru. But how can one recognize a true Guru? A true Guru should be one who has attained the supreme knowledge of the Divine.
