Once upon a time in a large town where tall buildings towered over cozy homes and parks echoes with laughter, there lived a little boy named Kelton. Kelton was about to start a new adventure, KINDERGARTEN!

The night before his very first day he couldn't sleep for tossing and turning. He imagined all kinds of exciting, nervewrecking things, of how kindergarten would be.

Would he make new friends? Would he like his teacher? Would he remember where his classroom was?

Early the next morning with his heart racing he jumped out of bed. He put on his favorite shirt and slipped on his shoes, which mommy had laid out for him. For breakfast he had pancakes and orange juice.

Finally the moment has arrived. He grabbed his backpack and headed out the door. Mom following behind with his packed lunchbox. He stood beside his mommy's car, wrapped both arms around her legs, scared of the unknown before him. He saw other kids hugging their moms and walking inside.

Kelton took a deep breath and walked inside. The walls were covered in letters and numbers and the kids were talking excitingly. His teacher greeted him with a big smile. He thought I'm going to be brave.

Throughout the day Kelton colored pretty pictures, sang silly songs, and listened to his teacher read stories of dragons in a far away land. At recess he made a friend who loved dinos as much as he did.

As the days grew into weeks, Kelton learned how to write his name and count to 20 without skipping a beat. Everyday he would run in and tell his mommy about the adventures he had. Like when he found a ladybug on the playground or when he got to be the line leader all day.

But there were also hard times. Like when he wanted his mommy when he scraped his knee or when he couldn't find his crayon. But his teacher encouraged him and he listened to his friends silly jokes and knew he could make it through the day.

One Friday afternoon as he sat cross legged on the mat listening to story. He realized kindergarten isn't just for learning his abc's, it's about making new friends, discovering new things, and growing a little bit every day.

And so with a heart full of excitement and a backpack full of memories , Kelton new his kindergarten adventure was just beginning. With every step he took he was learning not only about himself but about the wonderful world beyond those classroom doors.
