"Adrian"
"You're still searching for her? Adrian, stop it." Lia appeared in front of me.
"You don't tell me what to do."
It's been months since she's gone missing. No goodbyes. She just left without leaving any traces. Why did she left me? Why did she left me? I sat on the chair near the glass wall. The rain won't stop pouring. It seems to sympathize with what I'm feeling right now. Lia sat across my seat with her face painted with worry. I can't help but to sigh.
"Adrian, she won't come back."
My forehead creases. I felt annoyed of what she said. She sounds all-knowing when she don't even know a fact.
"How could you say that? If you don't have anything good to say, get lost." I spat. She's putting salt to my injury.
"Adrian! please! Get to your senses!"
"Lia, shut up!" I hissed.
The corner of her eyes watered. She looked at me in disbelief. "you're going crazy."
I keep my mouth shut. My lips in a thin line.
"Stop with your delusions, Adrian. She won't come back! She won't! Not ever! So stop looking for her!"
"I said shut up! She's coming back! she'll go back to me." I balled my fist. Her words are getting into my nerves. Who does this woman think she is. When I was just about to get up to leave her to have my peace of grieving. She said the words that send shivers down my spine.
"She's dead." She said as a tear escape her eyes. "She is dead, Adrian."
Right.
"Let her rest in peace, Adrian."
I am the one who left no traces of the nights she bathed on her own blood. She broke me. Thus, she had too. Literally.
