It was raining day, the whole town was shut because of the lockdown. Few cabs were allowed to transport the passengers. I had an invitation from my colleagues to be a part of a reunion organised in a 5-star hotel. So I got dressed and booked a cab. In 10 minutes I was in the cab and for another 30 minutes, I was in the hotel. Rain was still pouring. I reached the reception of the hotel and enquired about the reunion. I was told it was happening in room no 202. As I was walking in the alley of the hotel, I saw a beautiful girl inside one of the hotel rooms. She was unpacking a new iPad. I was stunned by her beauty.

Nevertheless, I moved towards the stairs. I reached the second floor and knocked on the door of room no 202. Shubham, my old friend from college opened the door. He greeted me with a smile and asked me to come inside. The room was packed with people. Half of them were unrecognisable to me. Everyone in the room were noticing my sunglasses and started a discussion about it. My mind was stuck on that girl. I took a beer and lit a cigarette. But I was told that smoking was only allowed outside the room. So I went out and stand near a window of the hotel's corridor. I lit the cigarette. Still, the beauty of the mystery girl was hovering in my mind. All of a sudden, I heard a voice " Do you have a light?" I turned and it was the same girl. I humbly handed over the lighter to her. she thanked me. I wanted to start the conversation with her, So I asked about her iPad. She was shocked and asked me how did I know. I told her that I saw her inside her room as the door was opened. She smiled at me and continued to gaze at the rain outside the window.

A boy in his teen was carrying a baby came out of the lift and walked towards us. Young Boy was her cousin. And the baby he was carrying was a girl's little brother. The baby was about 2 years old. He looks like a demented baby with no expression at all. He started touching me and in no time, started giggling. That behaviour of the baby was shocking to the girl and her cousin. There, she told me that since birth her little brother had never giggled nor cried. He never touched anyone except her and their mother. I was immensely happy after listening to that and was expecting to impress the girl. I took the baby in my arms. The baby was happy and giggling. All of a sudden, I started noticing red colours pimple on the baby's hand. The girl started screaming and took the baby from my arms and rushed towards her room. Then, I saw the same kind of pimples on my hand too. I panicked and rushed towards my room. And straight went to the washroom. I was shocked in horror. I was also assured about the girl blaming me for infecting the baby. After 5 minutes, all pimples had disappeared from my body. I was at peace but still had guilt about the baby. I wanted to go back to the girl's room and apologise to her and her mother. So I made up my mind. I walked towards the lift. But before I press the button, Lift opened and the same girl was standing inside. She pulled me inside and the doors got closed. Before I say anything she told me that the baby's pimple also disappeared. But she didn't understand, how it had happened. She also told me that she knew that was not my fault. She also confessed her liking for me. But she couldn't do anything about that. As her family believed that I was at fault. I was sad and broken. Then, she went back to her floor. I also left my reunion in middle and came back home. But still, that scenario was haunting me. Somehow, I managed to eat food and decided to do some meditation. As I closed my eyes, I saw the young cousin's face smirking at me. I woke up. I immediately booked the cab and straight went to the hotel. I told reception to call someone from no 101 as it was very important. At that moment I was shocked when the receptionist told me that room was never been booked, when I asked the reason she told me that a few years back they had sealed the room as one of their customers committed suicide in that room. I told myself how can it be possible. I rushed toward room no 202 where the reunion was happening. I knocked on the door. Subham opened it. He was looking shocked and told me that I was late for the party as everyone had left already. I told him that I was there at the party. He laughed and told me that he had seen me after ages. I was stunned. I took out a cigarette and walked towards the corridor. Subham stopped me and asked where was I going. I told him that previously he didn't allow me to smoke inside the room. He laughed again and told me that I had lost my mind. He snatched the cigarette from my hand and lit it and sat on the sofa. I was staring at him. A voice of running water took my attention which was coming from the bathroom. As the door opened, the same girl came out. I was in shock to see her again. I was feeling choked and gasping for breath. Everything around me had turned blurry. In the background, I could hear their conversation. They were talking about me. In no time I was unconscious.

I woke up at the police station. I saw the receptionist standing there with cops. As they saw me they enquired about my condition. I told them that I was feeling ok. They gave me a glass of water. I asked the receptionist what has happened. She told me that I was found unconscious in one of the rooms. I asked about Shubham, the one who booked the room. She told me that room was never been booked and she didn't know any customer with the name of Shubham. I didn't have the energy to go on the string of queries again, so I stopped talking. One of the cops came towards me and offered me a cigarette but I didn't oblige.
