I once saw a man and a beggar named "Opportunity."

Before I walked, pass away. I saw the man give his thing called "Everything" to that beggar.

The next day, I walk again to the same street where I saw the man and a beggar. The Beggar wasn't there anymore, not even a trace. I came back again and again every single day, but still no beggar named "Opportunity" on sight.

Time flies when I walk again to the street where I saw the man and a beggar. The beggar was still not there in the street, but, shockingly, the man was there, standing.

The man cameback with new clothes called "Suit." He had a backpack before, but now he is carrying a "Suitcase." The man who used to ride with a bicycle is now the owner of a "Sportscar."

The man was standing in the area where the beggar was sitting...

The man in a suitcase smiled with "Gratitude". Every single "Gratitude" from the man is watering down from his eyes down to his face and dropped in the grounds where the "Opportunity" was found calmly sitting and waiting to be reached out by the people passing by.

I was happy for the man, but I feel guilty for myself. "WHY?" I said to myself. I should be the one who is standing in that man's shoe, but WHY?

Why did I not give my "Everything" to that beggar named "Opportunity" before? Why did I not at least spare my "Efforts" from my pockets for "Opportunity"?

My "Remorse" came out of my eyes. Every single "Remorse" from my eyes is watering down to my face, then to the ground.

The man sensed my presence from not a faraway sight. He walked towards me while his "Gratitude" was still pouring down to the ground. When he was in front of me, he talked to me...

"Why didn't you do it?"

I looked him in the eyes and slowly answered. "I was reluctant, hesitant and unwilling to give or spare."

The man responds, "You have the everyday chances to give or to spare, but you walk away from it again and again and again. Now you have seen the results of what you should have and what you should have become."

After hearing what he says,. I drop on my knees; my "Remorse" rapidly and increasingly bursts in my eyes and drops heavily to the ground. I felt ashamed at that moment.

The man looked at me in the ground kneeling, then he slowly crouched until he reached my head level. He reached out his right hand to me and he said

"I forgot to ask for your name. By the way, my name is SHEER WILL. What's yours?"

When I realized that we never knew each other's names. I slowly move my head to him and look into his eyes. I saw his right hand hanging in front of me. I then reached out his hand to shake hands with him, and I whispered... "My name is REGRET".

THE END!
