Eliza is my first degree cousin, gifted with charm, beauty, and a strong personality.
Despite born being poor she was always inspired by our late grandfather to pursue
a long time wish having a teacher in our clan
in the future. Her mother my late aunt was a wanna be teacher unable to pursue her father's dream for her because of multiple reasons according to her until she got married.
Being the eldest, her mother and grandfa-
ther's wish is laid now upon her shoulder.
Born a dreamer she paved her way from the highlands to the lowlands in order to continue her studies in high school. By the will of his father she lived in her grand
mother's house ( father's side ). Believing his brothers having nice jobs those times could send her to college. However, contrary to what she expected her grandmother mistreated her. She never gave up despite all the hardships she suffered, like the unequal treatment between her and the other grandchildren, the constant criticisms she received despite working so hard just to please her.
Years passed by and she almost graduated high school. Because of being pretty and po-
pular in school she became a muse not once but thrice during school activities and affairs.Though not so brainy but she is really
determined of what to become in the future.
After finishing high school her father really
expected that her uncle would spend her college education, the uncle wanted though
but the wife and grandmother obstructed,
So, the dream was shattered for the moment. But then his grandfather said " No matter what happens, go on with your dreams!, be a good teacher someday."
That is why Eliza stood up once again and say
to herself " I will reach out for my dreams, I know I can make it."
Weeks after recovering from her loss, she decided to look for a job, and then
she works as a bakeshop salesgirl in a nearby town, and from her salary
she partly support some of it for his family's
needs, setting aside the rest for her own and savings for the next school year. The year following her elder sister, her mother's daughter from another man, agreed to finance her college expenses on a condition
that she would babysit her daughter while she is about also to finish her studies soon.
So by the next semester, she was so excited
to enroll, however circumstances did not allow, because a misunderstanding occurs
between her and her sister's husband.
Eliza decided to go home. Her parents agreed
to send her to college at all cost. Her grandfather who used to inspired her to become a teacher someday cheered her up to
fight for her dreams, as well.
So she went to college guided by the unwavering support of her parents and grandfather. At first it was so quite hard adjusting with the situation, financially unstable and always wanting especially during exams. His grandfather however despite of being old tried hard enough to contribute the last savings he had for her
to continue the dream he wishes for his family for so long.
After years of struggles she finally graduated
Bachelor of Science major in Elementary
Education. Right after she got married to a man belonging to a seemingly well off family and bear beautiful twins. Her grandfather died before she even is able to start working as a teacher, but Eliza in her heart knew that grandfather is happy now wherever he is because his long time wish was already fulfilled through her, in fact she surpasses what was expected because she not only was an ordinary teacher when she began working in addition she becomes also a multi awarded head teacher, later a principal because of her utmost love and dedication to the teaching profession until towards the end of her career as a teacher.
